How many of you found your loved one on the internet? I know we had several who did and got married happily ever after. Do you believe in internet dating? Are you using it now? What internet dating service do you use? (yes I am happily married and don't use the service but know we have plenty of singles and would like to get feedback. I have a friend who uses a service and is always disappointed the men don't ask for a 2nd date. I don't believe the issue is her but rather possible the men she dates are just looking for one nighters.) |

Lazilu- A cell phone? LOL! I would have deleted that one fast to. You use it to meet friends though, thats nice. Do you get them from all around the world? Joan- Hey, peek over that shoulder just with your eyes wide open. LOL! Lori- I wish you luck. |

My daughter found a guy and got to know him a while then they found out he had a brain tumor and not long to live, so they broke it off. He was across the water, a long way to really travel everyday.
Now she has met another one, and so far is doing alright. Its not going fast, which is good since she has my granddaughter.

How many of you found your loved one on the internet? I HAVE!!! I know we had several who did and got married happily ever after. Do you believe in internet dating? Yes, I met my bf almost 4 years ago and we have a wonderful relationship, he is a great guy!!! Before him I dated others, some were good, some were awful, lol......but I did it the safe way....a girl friend and I (she internet dates too) always had our cell phones, met in very public places and when we got home, NO matter what time, we called each other, she has not met "Mr. Right" yet, but she has met a few Mr. Okay's, LOL.... Are you using it now? No need to now, lol What internet dating service do you use? We met thru Yahoo personals |

Hi guys just going threw some of these old post and had to let you know that I met Kevin on the net, I believe its a good way to meet someone, if you don't like what you are talking about you can just click off, I clicked off Kev a few times but not cause I did not like him I became bored waiting for his messages to come threw he could not type very fast, but when he learnt to type the conversation was much better. and here I am today going to marry him. I met my sweetie on line in a spiritual chat room- 7 months later he called me from Morocco and asked me to marry him- i said yes. several months later i flew to Morocco where i became engaged at his family home- we celebrated our 2nd. anniversary Sept. 18= He is a wonderful, kind, sweet man i have NO REGRETS= we had a beautiful wedding in a woodsy setting- non traditional = my best friend married us- it was native american/celtic/ moroccan ceremony. we danced to Arabic music and said vows to Julio Inglesias singing in French. My husband had my lovely Moroccan gown made for me and he brought me gifts of silver, saffron and other spices from Morocco. |

After our Moroccan engagement, i came home to do all the paperwork thru immigration. He also had to go thru the Embassy for interveiw and back ground check- he arrived here 8 months later. He is now working at Safeway and going to college full time. In Morocco he was a teacher - he had a 4 yr. degree- usa did not recognize his degree- so he had to start over again. So he is now working towards his degree in computer sciences- |

Nope don't internet date. I do have a "special someone" but living together or being married is not in the cards. I do know folks who have used the internet for "match making" some have found success some haven't. |

I don't really "date" either. The men I go out with are guys I've known for awhile. Guys I used to date back in the day. Old friends from school. I'm not interested in the "happily ever after" commitment and it really has nothing to do with my divorce. I didn't want the commitment when I DID get married...but finances weren't to great so I opted in. |

When I got married there was no internet,but I think it is very risky and a girl has to be very careful.Some people are happily married to someone they found on the internet though. |
