I haven't tried this, but it sounds good and easy.
Might be a good idea for PotLuck

                            Hot Fruit Compote

1 can of Peaches

1 can of Pears

1 can of pineapple chunks

1 cup of brown sugar

1 tsp. of cinnamon

1/2 stick of butter

1 can cherry pie filling

If you are filling a crock   pot, use the largest cans you can get.

Try it  right out of the pot

or  pour over angel food cake, ice   cream, waffles, pancakes etc.

The recipe I submitted wasn't too complete on directions.

I looked up similar recipes that give more complete directions.
This one is close :
 ( I personally, wouldn't add applesauce)

29 oz. can sliced peaches
11 oz. can mandarin oranges
2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. cinnamon
29 oz. can pears, halved
20 oz. can pineapple chunks
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. brown sugar

Drain peaches, pears, oranges, and pineapple chunks well. Combine together and add remaining ingredients. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
