This poem was part of our spontaneous writing. There was a time limit of 10 mins and I hope you like this one

A wave to me is power
How they crash upon the bay
And look at the white caps in those waves
What raw energy those 'Pollies' say!

"It can be harnessed surely
As our planet slowly dies.
The coal is nearly worthless
Prices rising to the skies.

No! Leave that wondrous beauty
You've stuffed up other ways
We need to have unbridled spendour
Uplift our mundane days.

Hark at the sound of roaring waves
The sea once mild and tame
Tempest in all its fury
Not one day can be the same.

You might have gathered I love the ocean lol

I don't think I'm that good, so no I haven't.

The class I attended has officially finished, but a few of us meet once a week in a pub to carry on. We actually mooted this point of getting an anthology of our combined works looked at.
