I looked at everything and I believe you are talking about the Manager option to send one a link to join. That hasn't worked for years. Ask her to apply to join directly  then you can just let her in. Send her your group link   I'mn glad you finally went private to. It took me a long time to get you to want to do that. Now you are getting more people and not so much crap popping up.

You need to send a personal invite with the url and then you can sign her up.

this friend hasnt heard of msn groups - thats what the problem was and still is ... she is pc literate  but after a car crash and massive head injuries she cant tackle much on the net like "SEARCH. "

If you send her your link to your board with it being private it will go to the to join page for her but she will need to click on something there. Is that to much? If so it makes me wonder if she could even post or is it so she can get your recipes? I'm sorry to hear about your friend.
