What is going on in your world. New job/old job/retirement. Health news. How about family good/bad news. Stump with a life problem want our opinion. We are here to laugh with you or cry if need be. Need a hug or someone to hold your hand. This is a thread where you can eat any treat you do not have to worry about calories,carbs,sugar or gaining weight. So eat, drink and chat awhile.

I handed out candy for an hour. I had to quit
and shut off the lights and shut the gates. The first set of gates is 4 foot high the second set of gates is 6 foot high. That stops everyone from going down the car port into the back yard and keeps them out of the garage. The shot is a shot no matter how you look at it. But I dealt with it. i also got my flu shot. My knee is inflamed and hurtshe said it wouldn't be until my third shot that I will start feeling a difference. It is one shot a week for 5 weeks. I also have a fever. I always get a fever after getting a shot. I only got one baby shot my Mom had to bring me to the hospital they thought I had polio because my legs swelled up so much. I want to than you all for your support
it really does makes a difference. I just keep moving ahead one foot in front of the other.. I am to close to some of my goals to give up now. If Ii can't complete my goals for some reason or another I will know it wasn't for the lack of trying.

The fever's probably from the flu shot. I always carry a low-grade fever for a couple days after shot -- Makes you feel blah --- but it's better than suffering through the flu.

Grit you teeth with each shot, it will make so much difference. My mother had them in hip when she had shingles, they also needed to do a nerve-block on her spine, she was in so much pain.

Angelbear ... Thanks for checking that out for me -- that's not too bad for one piece of toast. This time of year calls for apple cider, apple butteer and I think one caramel apple on my free day. Jeez -- I haven't dieted since 2000 and it's dang hard.

I can't grit my teeth they have been in a bowl seems like forever I got dentures in 2002 and they never fit me I have had them adjusted dozens of times and they still do not fit. I think they had a mix up in the lab where they were made. After I get down to my goal weight I am going to have a new set made. Went to a see Lleo Ddays he is an Elvis impersonator. He does a very good job I have seen him many times.
He is relocating to las vagus. Couldn't stay for the whole show couldn't be off my oxygen for very long.

My dentist told me some people just can't wear dentures. I started having them pulled in Sept 1999 and dentures in 2000. Then my insurance quitdoing dentures. Now they do again but was told to wait for new ones because of my surgery as I lose weight my mouth structure will change.

tests and more tests.... so very tired of tests... now they think....... yep think this is what I have...... NEURO FIBROMOSTOSTS.......... I do have the turmors some on my face.... My sister has now found she has some on her kidneys... Now what the heck else.......

So more tests and then maybe just maybe I will now no wh I can not left my right arm at times with out using my left arm... Sorry who wants to hear me cry..... No one..... hugs

You cry, yell, scream, and whine whatever you want to. Them doctors (most) do not know what we are going thru and YES there is always more test and needles and poking and prodding around. I do real good for quit awhile then I just throw my hands up and say ENOUGH. I get off the diet back off some pills until I only take a few so I can listen to what my body is telling me. How I am feeling. How to approach my health issues in a different angle. Then I get back on track. Ready to do it all over again.

Helen ... What kind of pie? I can eat this pie and not spoil my diet. My next step is to get back on my glider.

Cherylloraine ... what's life without a little bit of whining -- I have one on my right hip that gives me fits -- but I'm on so many med's now, I couldn't tell you if any of them are helping. Just take a day at a time aand remember to find something to smile about and you'll make it through.

Oh pie it doesn't matter in this room what kind it is no calories-sugar-fats-salt issues when eating or drinking in this room. Drink eat and be merry. I will have a slice and some whip cream on top with a scoop of ice cream on the side. If I don't laugh'smile then I will cry. I would rather be happy and positive. That makes it easier for me to deal with all of my health issues. Talking about it keeps me on my toes keeps me in line with diets and sticking to what I can eat.
