Recognized by the Dalai Lama, with many of their Tibetan Rituals, carefully carried out, prior to recognition.; this Lama, who is very important to Tibetan people & their history, has been spirited away, in exile by the Chinese Government, and no one knows if this child, (in 1995 he was 6 years old), or his family is even alive any longer.

All requests for an international query into the welfare of this young man, have been denied by the Communist authority in China.
Instead, the Chinese government, manipulated and picked "their own" delegation to hand choose, their own reincarnated, "flunky" to say he is the reincarnation of the 11th Panchen Lama, to disupute the Dalai Lama's recogntion.

The new Chinese bred & chosen kid, is a "yes" man for the Chinese governement and "tows the party line" for them.

This is quite sick, but normal business as usual.

Why then are we (in America) and the UK doing business with China, when we call North Korea, the "axis of evil?".

Why do we import Billions & Billions of dollars, of China's goods, and open daily Wal-Marts, and McDonalds all over China today, while they refuse to cooperate with INternational Human Rights Associations and perhaps have tortured or even killed this child?

I'll post the Charts, of the last Panchen Lama and the current Reincarnation of this soul, if I find their charts.

The Panchen Lama is considered as Reinkarnation of the Buddha Amitabha, the Buddha of the immeasurable light.

current controversy

The current owner of the title of the 11. Panchen Lama is in the opinion the Exiltibeter Gedhun Choekyi Nyima (* 25 April 1989), successors of Choekyi Gyaltsen.

He  was recognized at the age of 6 years to 14. May 1995 by the present 14. Dalai Lama, and three days later  Chinese safety forces  kidnapped with its family from Tibet.

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panchen_Lama&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=3&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dpanchen%2Blama%2Bwikipedia%26hl%3Den

So far any establishment of contact was rejected by international organizations from China, its present place of residence and condition and that its family is thus further unknown from the outside. Gedhun Choekyi Nyima is considered as the youngest political prisoner of the world.

The Dalai Lama Natal Chart and feedback from Forum:

Points out the fact that the 1st, 5th & 9th houses are seen as very important Fire Houses, in which many spiritualized souls are born into with a Grand Trine (I have a Grand Trine, in these Fire houses, but all my planets are in Fire (MC.9th House  Aires, 1st House Leo & 5th house Vertex in Sag.)

The Dalai Lama has a more "straight" chart of 1st, 5th 9th houses all Fire houses, a Grand Trine in Water signs.
(although in the fire houses)

The Chinese Governemtn installed Gyaltsen Norbu as the Tenth Panchen Lama. Controversy

about this reincarnation became one of the most sensitive

Tibetan political issue of the Twentieth century. Today, Gyaltsen

Norbu lives in Tibet and is nurtured by the Chinese authorities

while Gedhun Choekyi Nyima (the REAL Panchen Lama) and his parents?whereabouts in  China is still unknown.

My Letter on September 11th, 2007  to the Dalai Lama:

Hello: I'm an Astrologer in the U.S.A., who reads many of the Dalai Lama's books, over the past years, and have enjoyed them all

immensely.

Presently, I am reading, "How to See Yourself, As you Really Are" translated by Jeffrey Hopkins.

I've enjoyed the other books in which Jeffrey & the Dalai Lama both  collaberate on as well, including  "Advice on Dying" and Living a Better Life. And I really enjoyed the past books in my local library that Dalai Lama wrote with scientists & Quantum Physics, that was most helpful for modern understanding of ancient truths.

It was in the latter book mentioned (Advice on Dying) that I first read of the  ongoing angst concerning the whereabouts and physical health of the young boy known as the Panchen Lama.,born in April 25th, 1989 Tibet.

As an Astrologer, of course this piqued my curiousty as well, as to his "Time of Birth", as I cannot find anywhere on the  Internet, this information or his nativity chart.

Since I also purchased and loved, the book in which the Dalai Lama wrote the forward to, called, "Buddhist Astrology" by Jhampa Shaneman, I thought it wouldn't be too intrusive if I asked Dalai Lama to provide me with the time of birth for the 11th Panchen Lama, so I might do his Natal chart for my own studies.

That would be of course the time of birth for the one known as :  Gedhun Choekyi Nyima

I also recently read today, a blog article posted here, about the one that China is touting as the one they have obviously chosen, and for this reason my husband & myself, have opted NOT to take a China Tour that has become so very popular to do here in the United States of America.
I think it's unconscienceable, to do so now, to travel and spend our dollars in a country that does these things to it's people.....including the people of Tibet.  So many of them are now being brainwashed by the Chinese Government from what I can see here:
(Scroll down to the 2006 Article about the Panchen Lama that is here) saying the UN does not believe:

It is with this spirit of  a united front and support of the Dalai Lama, his teachings of Buddha's wisdom, and knowing now that China should not be given more American money & tourism, (as it is being given every single day), that I hope the Dalai Lama sees fit to let me have the time of birth of this young man , so I may be further along with my studies of Astrology and Natal Charts of the spiritually blessed incarnations of all who are.

Please let me know if you have any questions of me, I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

Today is September 11th, anniversay of the Twin Towers, and it made me remember the nice letter that the Dalai Lama wrote to G.W.Bush back in that year, the same week it occcured.
I'm only so sorry that as an American, and especially as a citizen of both this country and of the world, that Mr. Bush did not see fit to take his wise counsel then., nor even today.

This , please convey to the Dalai Lama, makes me very sad indeed.

Sincerely,

The  "Fake" Panchen Lama presented as the authority doing the business of the Chinese government:

"Panchen Lama" Makes Rare Public Appearance

HANGZHOU, CHINA: 13 April 2006 (AP) -- China's controversial choice for a Tibetan holy figure made his first major appearance before an international audience Thursday, saying Tibetan Buddhists should be patriotic and "defend the nation."

Gyaltsen Norbu, 16, is the second-highest figure in Tibetan Buddhism and a key figure in the struggle for the religion's future that pits China's officially atheistic communist regime against supporters of the exiled Dalai Lama.

Norbu is believed to live in Beijing amid intense secrecy and is almost never seen in public.

He was seated onstage at the opening of the five-day World Buddhist Forum, a gathering of about 1,000 monks, nuns and scholars from more than 30 countries that China is using to showcase its cultural diplomacy and its willingness to use traditional beliefs to ease social tensions.

The tall, thin teenager delivered a 10-minute speech in Tibetan that, according to an official translation, dwelt on Buddhism's responsibility to foster patriotism and national unity.

"Defending the nation and working for the people is a solemn commitment Buddhism has made to the nation and society," Norbu said.

He praised his predecessor, who was imprisoned for years after openly criticizing Beijing's politics in Tibet, for having made "outstanding contributions to the unity of the country and the solidarity of the people."

It was believed to be the first time Norbu took part in an international religious gathering, an apparent sign that Beijing is seeking greater acceptance for its choice of the Panchen Lama. Scores of police and plainclothes security agents guarded the hall where Norbu was speaking.

Beijing installed Norbu as the 11th Panchen Lama in 1995, rejecting another boy chosen by the Dalai Lama. That other boy, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, has not been seen in public since and Chinese officials refuse to say where he is.

The opening ceremony of the World Buddhist Forum in the resort city of Hangzhou southwest of Shanghai featured speeches by Chinese officials heralding the country's social progress under communist rule. Monks and nuns stood silently against a backdrop of a huge picture of Buddha flanked by the five-color Buddhist flag.

Officials said Wednesday that the Dalai Lama -- the world's most famous Buddhist person -- wasn't welcome.

"The Dalai Lama is not purely a religious figure," said Qi Xiaofei, a Communist Party official who is vice-director of the State Administration for Religious Affairs.

"He is also a saboteur of ethnic unity and a pursuer of splittism, so his presence here would have constituted an inharmonious voice when what we're seeking is harmony," Qi said.

Qi's comments echoed China's long-standing rejection of the Dalai Lama, who fled to India in 1959 following an abortive uprising against Chinese rule in Tibet. China claims the Dalai Lama's recognition of a new Panchen Lama violated traditional codes that had at times given the Chinese emperor a role in that process.

Supporters of the Dalai Lama deny that, saying Beijing was angered by what it saw as open defiance. Since the Panchen and Dalai lamas play a major role in recognizing each other's successors, Beijing's influence over the Panchen Lama potentially gives it additional leverage over a future Dalai Lama.

A spokesman for the Dalai Lama on Thursday again rejected Beijing's right to make the final decision on reincarnations.

"Reincarnation is a religious belief and it cannot be decided by an administrative office," Thubten Samphel said by telephone from the Tibetan government-in-exile's headquarters in the northern Indian town of Dharmsala. China maintains strict controls over all religions and the rules are especially tight in Tibet, where Buddhism is an integral part of the restive Himalayan region's separate identity.

While China has allowed the rebuilding of many of the thousands of temples destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, monasteries, temples, mosques and churches are still barred from operating schools, hospitals or other civic institutions.

The restrictions remain despite China's increased willingness to give religion its due as a way of promoting stability in times of rapid social and economic change. Experts say Beijing especially favors Buddhism and Confucianism because, unlike Christianity, they are viewed as homegrown and not threatening to authority.

Among the hand-picked attendees at the conference, one Tibetan monk praised the regime for its greater tolerance."Things are more open and Buddhism is now developing very fast in China," said Saichun Lodan, dressed like Norbu in deep red robes with a saffron lining.

Of the young Panchen's speech, he said: "He's studying very hard and growing very well."

Panchen Lama Reincarnation

On 14 May 1995, His Holiness the Dalai Lama announced the discovery of Gendun Choekyi Nyima, a six year-old boy from Lhari in Nagchu, north-eastern Tibet, as the 11th reincarnation of the Panchen Lama, Tibet's second highest spiritual figure.

Gendun Choekyi Nyima is believed to have been escorted to Beijing by Chinese security forces from his home within days of the announcement. The Chinese government subsequently rejected the Dalai Lama's authority to select the reincarnation and on 8 December 1995 enthroned a different child, Gyaltsen Norbu, as the official Panchen Lama.

Youngest Political Prisoner

The PRC admitted for the first time on 28 May 1996 that it is holding the missing Tibetan child, just over one year after the child and his family first disappeared and following 12 months of denial by Beijing.

China'announcement came in response to a formal question by the UN Committee for the Rights of the Child which met in May 1996 to consider whether the PRC has complied with its legal obligations under the Convention for the Rights of the Child to which the PRC is a State Party.

Beijing said the child was being held to prevent him from being kidnapped. "He has been put under the protection of the government at the request of his parents", PRC'Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, Wu Jianmin, said.

According to the Official Chinese News Agency, Mr Jianmin said, "The boy was at risk of being kidnapped by separatists and his security had been threatened", but did not reveal why the government had not previously admitted that it was holding the child nor where the child and his family are being held. No independent observer has had access to them since they were last seen in May 1995.

Other Tortures being conducted by the Chinese Governement because they practice their religious beliefs include the following:  (1996 Listing)

The Chinese Govt. press release for the "Fake" Panchen Lama, included his photo. (cute kid) too bad he is a Chinese pawn.

"Requesting the State Council to Approve the Confirmation by Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn of Gyantsen Norpo to Succeed As the Eleventh Pan hen Erdeni."

The State Council hereby approves Gyantsen Norpo, who was born on February 13, 1990 (the 19th day of the 12th month in the Earth-Snake year in the 17th cycle of the Tibetan calendar)in Lhari County, Tibet Autonomous Region, and confirmed by lot-drawing from the golden urn as the reincarnation of the Tenth Panchen Erdeni, to succeed as the Eleventh Panchen Erdeni

On December 15, 1995, the Eleventh Panchen Erdeni received homage from 800-odd monks at the Tashilhunpo Monastery his official seat in Xigaze. He blessed them by touching their heads with his hand and presented them each with a "protection knot." In the morning on that day, color streamers were fluttering and Buddhist music might be heard everywhere at Tashilhunpo A great crowd of monks gathered together in the sunlight Hall of the Panchen Lama's residence, chanting sutras. At about ten a m, the Eleventh Panchen Lama ascended his holy throne; monks in the hall chanted in unison the Tulku Sutra" and offered a mandala (made of colored * Panchen Erdeni. They went to the Eleventh Panchen Lama's throne one by one and bowed down their heads to receive his blessing The Eleventh Panchen Lama reached out his hand to touch the worshipers' heads one by one The worshipers were all smiles. The activities of paying homage lasted more than two hours This was the first religious activity the Eleventh Panchen Erdeni engaged in after his enthronement The Eleventh Panchen Erdeni Chosgyi Gyalpo came into the world on the wings of his predecessor's wish This is a most favorable auspice.

The newPanchen Lama said to Li Tieying: "I am grateful to the central government, to President Jiang Zemin, Premier Li Peng and the representatives of the State Council. Surely I will study hard, love my motherland and devote myself to Buddhism."
The installation ceremony ended at half past ten in the morning. When the sun streamed into "Dojal" Courtyard of the Tashilhunpo Monastery, more than 1,200 monks and lay Špeople had gathered there to join in the celebration. The new Panchen Lama, who had just gone through the enthronement ceremony, walked on yellow carpets into the midst of the monks and lay people to receive their homage and congratulations. A hundred-odd monks of the Tashilhunpo Monastery queued up to present gifts including brocade, deerhorn with antler, ox horn carved with images of the Buddha, and other valuables to the Eleventh Panchen Lama Next, representatives from other monasteries and temples and from the masses came to the Panchen Lama's throne one after another to pay their homage to him, carrying with them butter grain, and other things. The gift offering activities lasted for about an hour The Eleventh Panchen Erdeni, with smiles on his face all along, received their gifts and solemnly touched their heads with his hand to bless them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The "Deed" was done, and the brainwashing completed for most of Tibet's Monks, to revere the "Fake" Panchen Lama as the "authority"

Here is what this  book/ article says, to "Diss" (disrepect) the true Dalai Lama who is in exile in India today:

As the search for the reincarnated child of the Panchen was being carried out smoothly, the Dalai Lama began meddling and creatingchaos so as to sabotage the work. Starting n December 1993, the Dalai Lama on several occasions sent people to secretly enter Tibet to conspire with an individual at the Tashilhunpo Monastery. This individual on the Dalai Lama's orders deliberately delayed the search process and secretly sent the name list of the 20-odd candidates to the Dalai Lama. At the t me when the on giving its approval to confirmation by drawing lots from the golden urn, on May 14, 1995, the Dalai Lama suddenly announced that a certain Tibetan boy was the reincarnated child of the Panchen Lama The Dalai Lamas announcement met with determined opposition in the search group.
Lobsang Gyantsen, honorary director of the Democratic Management Committee of the Tashilhunpo Monastery and member of the Leading Group for the search gave a talk about this He said that the Dalai Lama by colluding with an individual at the Tashilhunpo Monastery and presumptuously appointing a boy to be the reincarnated child of the Panchen Lama went against Buddhist doctrine against historical conventions against long established Tibetan Buddhist rituals and against the wishes of the Tenth Panchen Lama

He emphatically pointed out that according to historical conventions, the candidates for the potential reincarnated child must be reported to the central government for approval; after drawing lots from the golden urn and the reincarnated child was confirmed, the final choice should then be forwarded to the central government in Bejing  once more for approval

Moreover he pointed out, the parents of re Dalai Lama's so-called reincarnated boy of the Panchen Lama withheld the truth and lied about their son's real age. Their son was born before the death of the Tenth Panchen Lama but they falsely claimed that the boy was horn at the end of April 1989 in order to jibe with the birth date of the potential reincarnated child

Singchen Losang Gyantsen said: "The reincarnated child presumptuously designated by the Dalai Lama s not qualified to take part n lot-drawing from the golden urn. We the search group of the Democratic c Management Committee of the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the broad masses of monks will ever agree to let him become a candidate From November 8 to 11, 1995, the third meeting of the Leading Group for Locating the Reincarnated Soul Boy of the Panchen Lama was held in Beijing.

IF the Panchen Lama is still alive, he is 19 years old today(see photo) in link. No one has seen him since the Chinese took him into custody as a young child.
