Hi Lilli: Fair question.

.......I like to study all manner of psychology of human beings.
Years ago, when I was younger, I probably was one of the first readers of Ann Rule's new book about the Serial killer she once worked with, at an Emergency type of Center for suicides.

She (Ann Rule), was not famous then, just a part time reporter/journalist, trying to get by, and was also working for the police dept prior to doing her own thing with the writing at home.
Anyway, she took a Volunteer job, and the one person she took too at the job, on a friendly basis was her co-worker(voluneteer), Ted Bundy.

Ted (unbeknownst to Ann), was actually running around quite a bit, so fast as a matter of fact with his little VW Bug, to all the various western states killing & raping & torturing women.  Ted was a Serial Killer, (known now as someone without a conscience or Sociopath.

Now, Ann had a small contract with a book pubisher, and they told her, "IF the Serial killer who is killing women all over the western states is EVER caught, we want you to have the book contract, " so they gave her an advance, because they liked her style of writing.

Can you imagine her shock, when the killer was found and it was her good volunteer buddy, Ted Bundy?

A likeable young man if there ever was one, one who volunteered, was favored as a driver by the Governor of the state, was helpful in local politics, but very very shallow indeed!  (Saggy Sun, as I recall, with shades of Scorpio lurking everywhere........esp.in his Vedic Chart!)

Now, I was "Fascinated" by this case, and from then on I became a student of psychology, (sans the College courses), but studied on my own human behavior.

I always told my husband, my biggest downfall in life has been "not knowing to to talk with people"......because IF, I had been a better speaker (Venus in Saggy in my chart is far too blunt).....and doesn't win me any friends.,but HAD I been better at the give & take on a daily basis, and know how to communicate better, I'd have had my DREAM job of a Prosecutor for a State, (never a defense attorney),because I will not lie, (lol)

I really feel, (and so does my husband, and most who know me, ) I would have made a damned good prosecutor too.

I love human psychology , all manner of psychopathic behaviors (studying same, with my Jupiter in Scorpio),

Not sure IF this answers your question, but it's a start.

BTW, I'm a high school dropout, (hated school &  teachers trying to tell me how and what to think (Uranus (singleton) in Gemini.

Deb.

Capricorn can be a depressing sign, and I wonder, because Deb seems to
like to study some very dark subjects sometimes.

(the one daughter I'm still close to, Jennifer, is a January 4th Sun sign, Capricorn Sun, Taurus Moon with Scorpio Rising)

She attributes her police work (as a volunteer), and hobby of reading true crime mysteries, to me,

See how Capricorn & Scorpio, both contribute to "digging beneath the surface", and would make great detectives or crime solvers.

Amazing that you are a high school dropout, because you seem to be very smart, very curious, always studying, and always on top of the news.

LOL:
@ you seem to be very smart, very curious, always studying, and always on top of the news.

.....I AM!! all those things plus more!!
and I credit most of it to my mother who encouraged me to think for myself, and to getting away from schools that try & mould people into their frame of mind.

It's far better to think independently, IMO......

gee, I hope that's a "good thing", lol.

I know my 6th house of health has been a "drain" on me my entire life.

The last trip to Turkey, I was huffing & puffing along, and it was rather embarressing, to be one of the younger members of the tour group (by about 10 years in some instances), a few were around my age, but all in all, I was the one who "lagged behind",

and you ARE correct about the Back problems. Ever since I was about 13 and a boy picked me up (playing around) as I sat on the concrete curb tying my roller skates, he picked me up, and sat me back on the curb real hard which caused a crack in the spinal column.

It was an excruitiating time, of agony for me physically, until the doctors did something in the hospital.

I don't know (I was too young), but the spine grew somewhat "crooked" from then on.

Ever since the entire spinal column, with requisite nerve endings, causes, much more of a fuss with  headaches, and all manner of physical (by products), from a crooked spine.

The Chiropractor helped a while back however.,and it's better now then before, though I'm still slower then most physically.

Makes sense.

Nostradamus, born Dec. 14, 1503, in St.
Remy de Provence, France, had sun in Sagittarius, conjunct the Galactic Center.
Supposedly this black hole in the center of the Milky Way can bend time itself,
so those associated with it are supposed to have a perception of past and future time.

Here is my BML conjunct the Galactic Center: (perception of past & future time)........but in the dream state (subconscious mind, not the waking state)

Neptune in the 1st house in Libra, would be seen by me as our psychic awareness, both together and even apart, (but more pronounced when we are together)........... both in dreams and in trance state (rarely, but has happened)....to us.

It is appropriate then in the 1st house of the Composite Chart.

The 2nd house contains the Part of Fortune, (POF), which at 23SAG. is conjunct Spica (exactly), and we both feel very fortunate to have found each other in this lifetime, (always  have).
We "feel", we are each others "lucky charm"........

Mars in the 2nd, plus Venus & Chiron, makes a lot of sense as well.
Together we tried for over 15 years to make a living in real estate, by restoring old houses, selling them and renovating & renting them.

It was such a strain, so much hardship connected with this enterprise, (Chiron).(Venus), our relationship suffered because of it.......We eventually got out of the business at a great financial loss to ourselves, but happier for it.

Sun & Jupiter conjunct in the 3rd house of communications and in it's own sign (Jupiter's of Sagittarius), fits well. We are both scrupulously honest with our fellow man, and are committed to high ideals in our life, both with a conscience for others and for ourselves.

I think we communicate this to our children, a higher idealism.
Jupiter opposite the Vertex., may well suggest we've "overdone" in our lives in the area of honesty, (if one can do so)......sometimes at the peril of relationships with others.

4th House BML............the house of the early home development.

My husband always said, he was born, exactly 9 months to the day that I was, because he "wanted to be sure I arrived safely first, before he came into existence"...........Perhaps?
BML is suggesting this is so.

On the 7th House cusp, the cusp denoting committed relationships, there lies the Vertex, and in Pisces.

Interesting (personally speaking), as we both feel we are "sacrificing" in the life for our youngest daughter, as a kind of sacrifice for her............it's very personal, but fits well.,as Vertex is the "Fate" of the relationship as a composite or the fated events.

Funny, that I'm there too (the asteroid) named after me.

NN in the 9th house of Philosophy.  NN denotes the path the life will take this time around.  We both are highly philosophical, and although neither is religious, we always strive for a spirituality about ourselves.

Uranus 22nd deg.Gemini...........and conjunct the Asteroid, Ralph (named after him).........the only thing I can think of that would seem to fit well, is his very unusual and quick intelligence, seemingly, far beyond this plane's awareness., so in that light, I'd say it fits.
He is quite "unique", in combining a secular type of spirituality, with great intelligence of a rare type.

Uranus square the Vertex, fits well too.  I notice that this square probably well describes all the "unexpected" events of our life together, of which we've had more then a fair share of in this past 35 years.  I hope we've passed the test, and took them with as much grace as humanly possible.

I'd call them as Cayce did, the "Vicissitudes of Life"
so Uranus, (unexpected events) and the Vertex (fate) go well together for us.

Saturn, the "Lord of Karma" as a symbol of restrictions and problems, it the life, fits in the 11th house of "Hopes, Dreams & Wishes", as many of our earlier young married hopes and wishes and certainly dreams have been dashed...(so to speak), beyond words.
So, yes Saturn fits aptly here..........Saturn sandwiched between Pluto & the Moon, (my goodness, only minutes from each other symbolically, for this Composite) says a lot to me.
The Emotions the Moon represents with Saturn (lord of karma & woe), between Pluto & the Moon. Pluto represents very well, many lessons for us, as well as our younger daughters, who is very Plutonian, as well as her natal chart.

My own husband has Scorpio Rising, (Jess has Scorpio Moon), and the entire manipulative thing has been quite a lesson in that, even IF he didn't think he needed to learn this, I think he has learned that one never should even THINK to ever try & manipulate events to one's satisfaction.

To do this, without trust and faith that "the universe is unfolding as it should" brings only more "heartache/i.e. Moon", when Pluto i.e. manipulations are involved.

Have Faith, Charity, and hope, has been our greatest lesson in all the heartache brought about by the Catalyst, symbolized by this house.

...............................................................................................

I love when I find such confirmation that indeed our lives are written in the stars and the heavens.even with all the heartache, the soul is growing to higher then ever stimulation and proportionate with the pain suffered and endured.

I suppose thats a Leo dramatic statement if there ever was one.
But I also mean it.

Edgar Cayce said, "One cannot wear the Crown without the Cross".........and he also said the Cross is the "soulful , purposeful, & more rhythmatic way for the soul".

I take a lot of strength from these words.

Tad Mann (try)......for interpretation using that theory:

Puts my 9th house cusp is Pisces, the conception point. My mother was definately a bonafide Sagittarius type, but very freedom loving, and it's possible, that she either was inebriated or didn't herself, initiate this act, but my father definately would have, (a Scorpio type, Virgo Sun , Scorp.moon & Venus)
Mother has a Scorpio Venus as well.

From what I understood the birth went fine, a long one of course, with the first baby, many many hours.  My father (the Sun opposing the ASC.probably was physically "there", but seriously, he was NEVER psychologically "there", and absent I'm sure from the whole affair, (psychologically speaking).....so this would fit for sure.

Uranus in the 11th, conjunct the North Node.  IF the 11th is grandparents, my grandfather was always a concern for mother, as she watched over my grandmother daily, for granddad was a raving alcoholic.
However, if the 11th is "hopes dreams & wishes", as well; then possibly the 'hopes & dreams" of this young mother (my mother), was thrwarted by unexpected (Uranus) circumstances, with either my father's eternal unemployement issues, or even drinking, and/or possibly even as my mom once told me, their furniture was repossessed for not paying the bill.,and  her parents wouldn't come to her financial aid (the old school, says, "you made your bed you lie in it" and they weren't nuts about my father to say the very least!

So, yes I can see Uranus conjucnt NN in 11th, as unexpected events happening to mom, prior to my birth.

Along those same lines, (Uranus in the 11th, prior to birth) the unexpected event, let's not forget that Uranus (erratic and peculiar as well as not predictable), seems to fit my father (Sun on DC) personality, and they are in "Inconjuct" or "Quincunx", approx. 150 degrees a semi-hard aspect then.

The Birth Moment, (Cancer Rising, )    was full of motherly love and sincere bonding.  We adored each other.

The Saturn in the 1st  house, (my early months of birth), were difficult I'm sure for me as we were very very poor, but worse then  that my unpredictable father, (what did he do to me?..........I'll never know), and don't wish to know either.

Suffice it to say, Saturn in the 1st, and during childhood, brings woe to the home and responsibility to the adult.,suggesting a lack of a childhood sometimes.

The 2nd House (Tad Mann style) suggests not only our money house & values, but the planets in this house will be our ages 7 months to 18 months old...............
and yes, Pluto and the Moon here symbolically belong.
Pluto is "undiscovered and sometimes graphically bad things", as well as the Moon , going thru phases wherever it is found.
My early home was full of deceptions by the father, and worry for the mother.
I suppose I was "traumatized" but didn't realize or , or even remember consciously, as my younger sister remembers her own abuse.

The Moon here (at this age), is squaring Venus (their love was a sham)......and square to Jupiter (the excess in all directions, ) mostly from the father and his excesses.
My mom, ( Sag Sun ruled by Jupiter then)here, but certainly she is the Moon for me in my chart.

the 4th house, has Neptune (much deception by my father in the home) which affected me for sure......)during the 3 years to 7 years old period)......
Neptune is also square Mars (father?).,and square to Mercury (thoughts, etc......clouded by these deceptive practices. as well as his drinking.

5th House is the age we start to exteriorize, express ourselves, (the 3rd Octave for maturity), and corresponds with ages 7-13 years old.
Here in the 5th, we see Jupiter (excess), over the top, both parents, each going in their own expression and way, leaving Venus (my expression), is being expressed then, in the 5th house (sexual ways) being used then., (conjunct Vertex), and near POF.
(note the opposition to the 11th house and it's "crazy " Uranus.) this is indicative of the child's life then from 7-13)

Note also, the South Node, (karma), sits in my 4th house of Recreational sex.,and lack of committment for Venus.

6th House the Stellium of  planets. from the BML (expressing itself, away from (moving away from the 5th), into the 6th to join up with Mercury/Mars & the Sun during the ages of 13 years to 23 1/2 years, approximately at this Age, I married young to avoid the home life I wa living, a mistake at age 20 (the first time) so we have Mercury then Mars, , and not a mistake at 24 (the 2nd time)the Sun last at the oldest part of the span., and it fits in exactly with the timetable here.

The man I marry at 24 I stay married to for over 35 years, and still am married to. a Libran Sun,/Cancer Moon (his chart is on this thread).........and the Aquarius in the 7th depicts (two) marriages for me, the first one (the mistake and short lived and not even consumated was with an Aquarius Sun sign)....to get out of the home.

Aquarius, Gemini & Pisces in the 7th may often times, depict more then one marriage.,as they are all dual signs.

TAD MANN METHOD:  (trying to learn it)so the interpretation is SUBJECT to change here:

9th House Cusp: (conception cusp) indicator based upon classical and very antiquated (older understandings of the charts)

9th House Cusp in Cancer: his parents, esp. his mother then, is indicated here as the conception and how it occurred, with the motivations  then , as in Cancer, the home and setting up a home life with children was important to her, emotionally, with Cancer here.

In Actuality, his mother is a very cerebral person, (although not particulary intelligent, IMO), she is a Libran Sun, (like Ralph), born one day earlier on Oct.7th,) with a Virgo Moon - so she doesn't express emotions much, except for her own self,  and she has Libra Rising as well.,  so all in "her head", at times, even kind of an "air head"., lol.at all. Very religious too, but not in an "inner or more spiritual way", more outer like with churches.

Uranus in the 8th:
Prior to this pregnancy, (but not just prior), because it would have been a few years.,but there was a baby born with Mongolism.,which they let die (back then, this was what the doctors recommended......)we are talking the 1940s then.

Now, Ralph has an older sister Bonnie, who is 1 year older then he, and is a Leo Sun, (Stellium in Leo & Libra)....
so the Uranus in the 8th, is a backdrop perhaps, of an emotional (Cancer 9th house cusp), setting, trying to replace the lost child of an "unusual/Uranus", recent death (within the previous 4 years I suppose).

10th House M/C (Mother becomes aware of pregnancy, tells father, IF he is available  and the house on the M/C reveals the surrounding, enviornment, events & take of the news.

The 10th house is a very busy house with lots of planets here, so there must have been much pride (Leo) on the news of a new baby (Ralph), and the mother (Moon), conjunct Mars, was very busily being proud to her relatives and friends no doubt.
Pluto and Saturn together (conjunct in Leo) here, should reveal then, the conditions surrounding this happy event.
With the conjunction of Saturn (Restriction), and Pluto (Transformation), we have a volatile situation, or even perhaps Pluto here is an indicator of the father ( a very plutonian type, a Scorpio Sun sign Aries Moon) who was drinking quite a bit too.  So, perhaps there was some restriction on the mother because of  this drinking and worry about the marriage itself?

This is pure speculation on my part, as they were very secretive people, and all I know is she said, she did have a breakdown........at some point, but too secretive to reveal any details surrounding same.
(went to a psychiatrist)........so normally Mann would say that Pluto represents some distance or separation, but I don't believe they physically seperated at all, but all were thrilled to be having a new baby (Ralph)for his sister to play with (Bonnie)

So, I'm thinking Saturn conjunct Pluto in the M/C 10th, is that there was some restriction then, and not separation, due to the drinking and lack of funds.......for frivolity.

11th house of Dreams/hopes & Wishes:

A Stellium of planets, much activity here.  Neptune in Libra, Sun conjunct Neptune & Venus. All indicators of happiness, joy, creativity and overall good planets in this house.
The child then receives good vibrations, or understanding, even as a fetus as he grows that the Sun (father), and Venus (sister or mother), is anticipating his arrival, and with Neptune, (higher things, even perhaps some illusions harbored), with this anticipation.

12th House - the Birth at AC:  Now one Tad Mann Astrologer on H/Chat keeps saying that Scorpio Rising, in the Tad Mann readings, is indicative of a "Separation", but this is clearly not true!
I should know, as I have a middle daughter born with Scorpio rising, she was anticipated, loved by both parents who were BOTH present at  her birth(arrival), and NEVER, were separated either in thought or deed.

The same holds true with this Natal (Ralph's) birth.
BOTH parents were present, both were very anxious & anticipating his arrival. There was NO separation at all.
other then the father was working at his job the moment of birth, and came immediately thereafter upon hearing this certainly doesn't hold water!

I really think this Astrologer who everyone is so amazed at for his readings, (and I do think he deserves credit for very good Tad Mann Readings.......and is quite adept at it), simply made an error in understanding that Mann spoke of PLUTO being the Separation, and NOT Scorpio then!!
This is MY take on why the Scorpio Rising (always meaning Separation that this Astrologer kept saying, is simply in error of understanding)  It is PLUTO, (if Pluto was rising, or near the AC then.) not Scorpio then.
at least not in my family, lol.
perhaps in his own then. But I'm still reading the Tad Mann Theory, so again, subject to revision here.

12th house the birth AC:
...................during the birth, Mercury was conjunct Chiron, so a healing or a trying to heal perhaps for the mother from the child she lost or let die.(with Mongolism)......
The imprint then, from the mother to the new arrival (Ralph), will always be "felt", as a deep inner wound, from the mother imprinted onto the psyche of Ralph.
Connected with Mercury (the mindset), I must say in some fashion , this "may" have coloured the mindset, as Ralph has always been "melancholy", in many regards. A serious child, a serious adult (Scorpio Rising), but more then that a kind of inner wound type of deal too.........but I always thought it was more the being the lesser of the two (lesser then Bonnie), as she was the favored as a girl from the entire family including the extended family.

So, not sure, but I can understand at least the "imprint" of the birth mindset perhaps being given to the child via the mother's own thoughts & feelings......

Jupiter in the 1st, a beautiful infant, a beautiful child, (blond, blue eyed), and perfect.
Jupiter here perhaps (as I know him to be), is the way in which the child expressed himself and Jupiter is Square to Saturn.
He would self-discipline himself, even stand himself in a corner, if he was "bad"............not needing an adult to do this for him.

I suppose Jupiter in the 1st House, and in the latter degree of Scorpio, Square to Saturn, in retrospect is indicative of the father's ongoing drinking and overindulgence with both drinking & playing cards with the "Greeks", as he often told his family........he played poker regularly while drinking,
so Jupiter (excess) and Saturn (father), or figure of responsibility
