This thread is started anew, to record how I found in the Gospel of Judas, a more cohernet understanding of what Edgar Cayce had insisted upon, that the "lower world", or this Solar System, and those of us on this material planet, are subject to the energies of, the Solar System, until we "perfect" the human form, or the spirit that encases the human form.

Until then, we continue to reincarnate, over & over on the Wheel of life, as the Buddhists speak of.  The only way out......would be by using the pattern shown in the example of the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, as one example of a  near perfect human being.

Even he wasn't absolutely perfected however, (witness his anger often at the Pharisees, and the overturning of the tables in the temple) when the anger of Mars.....overcame him, but for righteous reasons as well.....I suppose as long as it's not for reasons that are self-absorbed ones, this is acceptable then, to speak out when you see wrongdoing, as he certainly did.

According to Edgar Cayce, when we are through with this Solar System, and the representations here being the planets, as "Loka", we move beyond and out via the entrance and exit of this system, through Arcturus. (near Spica in Longitudinal terms)

Only the perfected speciman of human & soul can move out of this realm and through the outer realsm of Arcturus...
Cayce said, Jesus came in from this realm, and indeed, when I erected his Natal Chart using the birthtime that Cayce gave, Spica, i.e. Arcturus sits on the Midheaven at the M/C ...

From this link:

Edgar Cayce, in his channelings, said that Arcturus is one of the most advanced civilizations in this galaxy. It exists in fifth-dimension and is the prototype for Earth's future. Its energies work as an emotional, mental, and spiritual healers for humainty. It is also an energy gateway through which humans pass during death and re-birth. It functions as a gateway station for non-physical consciousness to become accustomed to physicality.

Arcturus is that through which individuals pass, when the individual must chose as to whether it is to return to the Earth-sun system, or to pass on to others. This as both a step in soul evolution.

As far as the readings go, another Astrologer named Ry (Ryland Redd) received access to these (over 14,900 readings), and painstakingly, tried to isolate all with Astrological readings in them.
He managed to do this, (I suppose with early computer technology, although it was in the very early stages of computers)......before he died.
He then created what is known, (from these readings) as the
"Edgar Cayce past Life Reports".........using the readings as a "Pattern" to follow in our own charts.

However, the first thing Ry noticed as a very astute astrologer himself, is that using the traditional way we read a chart, was  not giving him, the information that Cayce's trance state suggested.,all the  time.  He was baffled about this, so he sought out help from a very famous & well known Vedic Teacher, a Brahmin, named
B.V.Raman.

B.V.Raman, told Ry Redd that it sounded to him, what Cayce was referring to, in these readings, was known as "Loka" in the Hindu venicular of Brahamin lore.

It was essential then, for Redd to understand, the premise or concept of LOKA.......before he could understand where and in what lifetime the soul of the chart owner, (that Cayce' read about); had come from. (the plane of consciousness prior to this one).........
or the inter-between realms of material life.

Loka - he found out is a Sansrit term meaning, "angel" or Divinity a celestial divinity, from Brahamin teachings that "rules over " a particular system on other planes of consciousness.

This then, put on a light  for Ry Redd, and he began to investigate further, how to find the Loka in one's natal Chart.

He found you needed to go to the Sidereal position of one's Rising Sign, in order to find Loka.
Here, then lied the foundation of the Cayce Life Readings.

After all, Edgar Cayce in the trance state, used Chaldean & Persian takes of ancient astrology and saw the planets and the cosmos, in this Celestial (Akashic Record) of the one he was reading for...

What does this have to do with the Gospel of Judas?

Apparently, the writer of this ancient 2,000 year of hidden Gnostic Gospel, found along with many others in the Nag Hammadi Area of Egypt.,only a few short decades ago, knew about Loka, and knew about Cayces references to the Solar System.

He says, Jesus told Judas (Iscariot), all about them..........

and here it gets interesting.

Reference:

The Sanskrit word "loka" means "World", "habitat", "realm", or "plane  of existence"; in the broader philosophical sense a dimension of  manifest existence or cosmic region. It derives from "loc", which
means "to shine, be bright, visible."

In Hinduist philosophy, the cosmos is subdivided into several "lokas",  each being another plane of existence.

If you are interested in finding out more about the concept of "lokas"
in Hinduist philosophy, please have a look at these websites:

Excerpts will be from the newly translated, Gospel of Judas
in the book "Reading Judas" by Elaine Pagels and Karen L. King.

I definately recommend this book by two wonderful historians and scholars, who have a long history of writing and researching the Nag Hammadi Scrolls as well as the other ancient texts.

Karen King wrote a wonderful book (in the Library as well), called,
"The Gospel of Mary of Magdala".....which beautifully reconstructed and translated for easy understanding, (relatively easy), this rare Gnostic Text..written by Mary .

Then, Karen King and Elaine Pagels, (who wrote "The Gnostic Gospels and Beyond Belief", got together for their first collaberation on this book, "Reading Judas" from which I will quote and try to tie together for you, what I am referring to in posts 1 and 2, that is
that the "Lower Celestial Spheres" including earth for which the "loka" has dominion over, .........is NOT the only Celestial Dimensions in the Infinite Universe, (meaning without end)

Very likely, we can think of Arcturus and Cayce explained, as being the gateway "out"........once the soul has become more perfect to deserve same.

Jesus called it "The Perfect Human"..........who gains access to this other realm. (Gospel of Judas)

And I'm reminded of the Synoptic Gospels where Jesus is quoted by John, as well as in the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas, in which he reminds or charges us to :

"Be Perfect, Even as your Father in Heaven is Perfect"

from page 134:
In the New Testament, in the Acts of the Apostles, the story is told that the disciples replaced Judas with another disciple, Matthias.

But why does Judas need to be replaced at all?  The author (of Judas) says it is in order "that the 12 " "may be complete in their god"

....................................................................................................
This isn't easy to understand without the background of both the times, and the Cayce understanding ...it's typical Gnositc, but also atypcial, because it explains more then their normal Gnostic doctrines might reveal about the sub-god and the Real eternal god force.

What the author is saying here, is that Jesus explained to him, that the "completion of the 12 apostles" had to be within the context of the Solar system, (loka) or the lower world.,in which we are all ensconed....
Only Judas was allowed to see the "other".....Celestial Realms, ....as reported in the Gospel of Judas.  He did this via a vision...given to him by the Lord.

He was told that the others (the 12)........were like those to come after them......leading the masses astray. Belief in Sacrifice and creating as a sacrifice (the stand-in of the Eucharist).....symbolic of a Sacrifice.

What did Jesus Sacrifice?........Certainly his life, BUT, according to both Gospels (of Mary & Judas), the 12 did not understand the why of this, nor did they understand the message of Jesus nor his
representation.

They mistakenly clung to what we all cling to, and that is the lower Realm i.e. the Solar system representation of the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, etc.

As we do...........as in anger, bitterness (the emblems of Mars & Pluto)....or revenge, etc. we do so at our own peril and stay in darkness (the lower realms)

Only by throwing aside this lower understanding, and reaching beyond, and perfecting oneself, by overcoming their obstacles (in their natal charts), can they then be free enough to consider moving on.....from these realms.

Similar writing was found in one of the other texts inscribed in the Tchacos Codex, "The First Apocolypse of James" also known
from a copy found near Nag Hammadi in 1945.

In the Nag Hammadi version, we see one disciple elevated above the rest, here it is James however.
Jesus sends him to "Rebuke the 12" becaue they are mired in false contentment, wrongly thinking that they have the "Way of knowledge" (Apocol.of James NH42:20-24)just as we see Jesus rebuking the 12 for their false piety in the Gospel of Judas.

The exact condemnation of the 12 however, is lost to antiquity. But what is preserved in the text, (Apocolypse of James), is that the text elevates a set of other disciples in their stead.
Jesus praises 7 of his women disciiples and instructs James to be "persuaded by the testimony of Salome and Mariam ,Martha and Arsinoe.
The version calls the 7 women, "The seven spirits" and  names them: wisdom, insight, counsel , strength  , understanding and knowledge.,
Six (6) human women are mentioned by name as models of salvation;
Salome, Mary, Arsinoe, Sapphira, Susanna and Joanna.

3:1  When Jesus left his disciples (Gospel of Judas)..."he ascended to another great and holy race"
Readers here learn that he is by no means, "trapped in the prison of his body" nor needing to be saved from it.
Instead he is able to freely move between this world and the world above.

pag 135:
.....The disiples are surprised to learn that there is a race living in realms beyond the world. Their ignorance and disbelief again cause Jesus to laugh. - signaling the reader that important teaching is to follow.

HERE, Jesus distinguishes clearly between the mortal children of the lower world and the race that comes from the realm above.
The race from above is strong and holy, and is not subject to the stars and angels that govern the lower world (the Loka)my insert!

In constrast, people who worship the lower angels are thereby "enslaved" by them, reminmding one of Paul's teachings in Galatians, "Formerly when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods Now however, that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits?"

(elemental spirits, can this be the "Loka" or the lower Realm of which we ALL on earth are part & parcel of?) I think so!

continued:

"At last Judas begins to understand Jesus deeper message. He is astonished to realize that (his) seed, that is all those who belong to the holy immortal race - is superior to the lower angels who rule the world.
Since Judas and those like him possess the imortal divine spirit while the angelic rulers exist only for an allotted time, the seeming order of things is reversed.

It is the lower angels who are in fact subject to the immotal race.
This view is also in Hebrews (St.Paul), which stresses that Christ is superior to the angels, citing a revisionist version of Psalm 8 (which declares that "man was made "little less then God"...

Judas realization is balanced however with yet another prophecy that he will "groan deeply" over his role in this world for his understanding of the truth about the kingdom and the mortal human race will lead him to grieve over their fate.

In the Gospel of Judas, it is Jesus who imparts secret wisdom to Judas - wisdom hidden from the rulers of this world, and unknown to  humanity.
This revealed knowledge is contrasted here with the "polluted and perishable wisdom" claimed by those who are ruled by the lower angels,

(i.e. the planets and stars of this solar system) or LOKA)my note:

Judas, 8:7
