A Nefie while on a visit to Ontario, decided to go into a fancy bar for a drink. He is stopped at the door and informed that he must have a tie to enter. So he goes back to his truck, searches all through his suitcases and bags, looking for anything he could use as a tie.
All he could come up with was a set of booster cables for his truck. It was worth a try, so he wrapped them around his neck, ties them into a clumsy bow and returns to the bar.
"Will this do?" he asks the doorman. The doorman looked him up and down and frowning slightly, he said, "Well...I guess so but just don't start anything!"

Yes a Nefie is someone from Newfoundland. Nefie jokes are very common in Canada and are told by Nefies themselves too. They are like blond jokes.
