I love the little yellow wild finches and they are plentiful in Missouri. I have 3 feeders up all summer. Someone told me they migrate in the winter. Another woman told me they do not. They just turn brown in color. Do you know which of these statements are true?

hey mahica  we have yellow finches in kansas and i noticed this year since we have a finch feeder, they are hanging around  i guess if there is food they stay.  they are still yellow, just not as bright as in the summer  we also have purple finches and house finches   these are both colored like a sparrow but have a bright red head and the males have a red breast they are smaller than a sparrow however.  allskeeter
