I can give you no reason why you got so much rain, and I on the West Coast of FL are some 5 inches short so far. But I can share this.
A Dutch recipe of Coleslaw w/ caraway and raisins:
3/4 cup sour cream
2 TBSP Red wine vinegar
1 tsp Caraway seeds
  Kosher salt, pepper
1 small head green Cabbage (thinly sliced)
6 green Onions (thinly sliced)
2 grated Carrots
1 cup Golden Raisins
    In a large bowl, whisk in the sour cream, vinegar, caraway seeds, 1/2 tsp Salt and
1/4 tsp Pepper.
    Add in the cabbage, green onion, carrots, and raisins. Toss well and serve....

Well, I am certainly jealous of your weather, but the recipe sounds delicious.  I'll have to try it.

We have actually had a few nice days lately and it is lovely cool with a nice breeze.

Thanks for the recipe.  I've had a lot of company lately and have been cooking up a storm.

Take care;
Gene
