Halloween is a big day around here. Lots of people decorate their homes almost as much during the Christmas Holiday. This includes lights, yard  decorations, and lots of cobweb material. Really neat, if you are not used to seeing such a display.
Last evening (Sat) our neighbors and we went to Carrabbas Italian Rest. As next Friday  (Oct 31) is Michele's birthday, and we stay home to answer the door for our visitors. So we go out either before or after her birthday.
She have Antipasto and a small order of Mussels in wine and butter sauce with a shot of Pernod for flavor. I had Chicken Bryant, a
seasoned Chicken breast, sautee with fresh spinach and Sun-dried tomatoes and the sauce reduced and poured over with a generous dollop of Goat cheese. The side was grilled Brocolli and Califlower (?) It was truly a great mill. The waiters came out and sang Happy Birthday in Italian. Quite a treat....

Morning Ed.......
We have a few houses that decorate for Halloween in that manner...but usually around here we will get caught in a snowstorm before they can get those decorations back inside.  We are due for over 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.
My sister's hubby, Norman, was born on the 31st, too.  The kids always take his birthday gifts when they go trick or treat...and of course he has had to endure the endless jokes about being born on Halloween.  He takes it all in good humor, tho.  Norman just had a double knee replacement done and is on the mend from that.
Sounds as tho you had a great evening out.  Something we can't do around here........ever.....because of Bud.  Oh, well, such is life, I guess.
Hope you have a good Halloween, and Michele has a wonderful birthday.
Grammit
