Not from West Side Story, but from the West Coast of Florida. We are to get down in the 40's tonight and we are turning on the heat for the first time this year! Today was rather cool and our high was in the low 70's. I am not complaining, but when I lived in Indiana and we had a high of 70, I was in heaven. But times have changed and I have gotten older. Cold and wet weather bring out the Gremlins of an older age! So some us are there to appreciate the Gremlins. I can only hope that as we approach the time of Gremlins, Witches, Goblins, and bad Spirits, that we all survive to become Turkeys....Ed

That's kind of chilly for your area, isn't it? At least this time of year. It's 42 here this morning, but supposed to get up into the 70's this afternoon. With this kind of weather, we don't need heat or air!

Amen on the cold and wet weather bringing out the aches and pains for us older folks!!  Bud and Chester sleep a lot during this kind of weather.  I would, too,...lol...if I had the time.  But with three boys to do for and Allie and the little one coming Tue. and Thurs., I just don't have the time.  Takes a whole great lot to put me into bed for an afternoon!!
We had very high winds last night.  I was praying we wouldn't loose power....I run three freezers just now!!!  And we didn't, thank God.
Woke up to a world of white this morning!!
It's here!!!!
Hope your day will be warmer.
Grammit

BTW, we did go that cold. it's 0719 now and the outside temp...OOPPPs it 39 deg....Ed

Ed, we were at 25F at 6:15 this morning.  If we're going to be that cold, I wish we had some of Grammit's snow.

I love the cold weather.  What the hell am I doing in Flori-duh?
