True Friends 

They can help us in our time of sorrow
lend an ear, or a heart
they can erase the sadness
of being so many miles apart
they can help to ease the fears, dry the tears
and show us wrong from right
lift our spirits on our bluest day
or light a path in our darkness night
they can show us the error in our ways
and with their love there is no end
no matter if anyone else cares
 we always have our friends
they spend their time to help us
 even when they too need a hand
 and no matter the circumstance
 their love you command
 even in the instance
 where you think all hope is gone
 they somehow find a way
 to reinvent the sun
 they are rare articles
 for they are truly few and far between
 they are part of your reality
 and also in your dreams
 so these miracles of God's blessings
 on your journey until this life's end
 and this place would be so unbearable
without those special friends.
