How to Care for your Daffodils & Tulips
Cut about 1 inch off stems and place in separate vases in cool water. It is very important to condition them in separate vases for about 6 hours. When cut, the stems of daffodils secrete a sap, which can clog the stems of other flowers, especially tulips. After six hour of solitary conditioning, they can be mixed in an arrangement with the tulips.
Arrange flowers, keeping in mind that cooler temperatures prolong flower life.
Add water daily or as needed. Tulips and daffodils drink water quickly, especially in warm air, so check the water level often.
