I was 6 when i started my menses 16-17 is when they stopped through the whole time i was in pain was told it was normal lol go figure they said it was what a women went threw. when i lost my period the doctors were puzzled didnt have a clue but i still suffered alot of pain. at the age of 24 i was finally diagnosed with endo how ever the previous doctor put me on progesteron to try to get me to have a period HE FAILED what happen was i had 9 cysts that all errupted i never felt pain like that in my life i bleed for 7 months after no joke finally went to another doc and that is when he did a lap on me and found it i now suffer with chronic pelvic pain on top of IBS Fatique fibroid tumors i am 28 all still there i am now seeing a specialist on april 14th in hope that he can help my options were 1.Hysterectomy 2. Have a child umm nope hehe i wouldnt believe that so i have to wait to see what this specialist can do.
I was put on lupron as first treatment i gained 45lbs and had all side affects with it i still cant lose the weight no matter what i do just wont budge i have Depression lmao we all do with this but my doc felt prozak was what i needed lol i have been in and out of the hospital so many times i lost count lol my las visist was last month i had to have emergency lap done almost lost my ovary thank god i didnt i just errupted 3 more cysts all were cleaned out and DNC was done as well so all in a nut shell this is me i have yet to have a period the only time i bleed is when cysts errupt. However recent blood work that was done shows i am still ovulating and my eggis are good my FSH level was at a 5.2 well with in the normal healthy side and that is the best news i have so far my dream is to be a mother threw this nightmare that will be my mircle.

Wow Corallee..what a time you have had...I'm sorry you had to go through all that..but sadly you are not alone...I do hope and pray the docs can give you some answers and help on the 14th..I just hope you aren't looking for a cure for the endo with the hyster...I had one about your age and I still have endo...not that I knew at that time that I had endo...I will keep you in my prayers that they will help you with the baby stuff..there are many miracles (babies) from this group..many girls were told they couldn't have children and beat the odds and did..I will pray that you are one of them...thanx so much for sharing your story..I am going to copy and paste it on the main board as well..as many people do not have it set up so that they get all the posts in their inbox....take care and keep us posted on how you are doing..Welcome..love and hugs..Angel

My name is Laura Ann and I have been through all infertility...so if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to reply to you !
 
I went through 1 GIFT cycle, 3+ IVF's and even a frozen cycle, I kept misscarrying due to my endo on the outside of my uterus, it practically "ate" it up from the outside, degenerated it, to a very small continuous cramp.  If we had known that, then we would not have done all we did....or perhaps they could have removed that and we could have tried again.  Anywho, welcome and know that you are with a great bunch of gals who have nothing but experience & support for you dealing with this horrible disease....
