You Are the True Spirit of Christmas
Two thousand years ago, a man walked the earth who changed everything he touched. His spirit was such that it transformed those to whom he spoke, those whom he touched with his healing hands. And so, today, take yourself back for a moment to this spirit, all the way back to the hot dusty roads of Galilee.
Allow yourself for a moment to feel the true spirit that was so briefly present in physical form, but is fully accessible to you, right now.
This spiritual presence is here for you now if only you ask it to come to you. It is love and compassion. It is forgiveness. It is deeply healing to the heart, mind and spirit. It is an intimate embrace of being, a call to oneness, to a spiritual connection and depth that reaches across time and space and includes all who walk the earth.
Meditate for a moment within this deep stillness. Allow the love to wrap around you and then be within it quietly, the Silent Night of the soul, resting in peace and oneness, compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love.
Release anything that is not love and forgiveness; release it from your heart and mind. All that is not light and love, let it fall away from you.
Let this spirit soothe your worried mind, calm your heart, still the voices of doubt and fear. Let it soothe you and hold you, calm you and embrace you. And then, let it lift you up into the greatness that you are, a shining light, glowing out into the world like a star, a star bright enough to show the way.
You are the way. You. For you have this same spirit within you; you are one with it completely. You have within you, right now, all of the love and caring, the compassion and forgiveness, the deep abiding peace. You are born anew in each moment with these gifts. You are the star that shines. You are the light of the world. You are the endless love and the open arms held out to humanity.
You, right now, in your open heart, joining with the great heartbeat of the universe, you are the true spirit of Christmas.
