777's When it comes to 777's this is a quite easy form of combat and has to cover a bit within the three lines of seven words or more. Words should contain at least (7) 4-letter words. All actions must be tried or attempted. You dont just do something,, has to be Tried or attempted if you do a post and dont state you try your actinos,, its a FORCE POST and its invalid,, means you never did it.
In understanding the attack of a set of sevens,, the (Intent Post) still has to be there.
And by now you are understanding Intent means if someone looks to you with a intent, and a threat. Looking at you is no threat, Looking to you and judging your distance can be determined as a threat, A weapon is not needed to initiate a set of 777's.
Intent (Names) and distance must be stated clearly. ANd Maximum movement of 10ft per round.
/me looks towards (FOE) facing him as I judge the distance at 8ft.
Attack
/me attempts to move forward trying to cover the distance of 6 ft.
/me attempts to drive my rt fist rt to left towards (FOES) left temple.
/me attempts to drive my lft fist lft to rt towards (FOES) right temple.
/me done
Completion.
Note: That stamping done is not a requirement of 777's it does not change the action done.
In order to stop a action on a set of 777's you must break a post at some point.. and there are two ways to do this.
1. You see a intent post on you.. At this point of you readjust your distance,, they have to agqain reset a intent post.. After all otherwise your character will not be at the distance that they have just stated
Example: of Movement prior to attack.1
/me looks forward to my front as I judge the distance to (FOE) at 8ft.
/me (FOE) seeing (?) looking towards me as I attempt to move quickly towards my rt 5ft.
Now you see that attempting to move forward 8ft at this point would cause them to have to re-adjust their distance.
2. Break the attack post
Intent
/me looks forward to my front as I judge the distance to (FOE) at 8ft.
Attack
/me attempts to move forward towards (FOE) trying to cover 6ft while rt hand pulls rt dagger.
/me attempts to thrust my rt dagger outwards towards (FOE) chest trying to peirce it.
/me (FOE) attempts to try to move backwards quickly 4ft trying to avoid the dagger.
(BROKEN POST)
/me attempts to swing left fist left to rt towards (FOE) left temple.
/me done.
You can see where the post is clearly broken. Again as more and more homes step away from 777s,, they are mainly used now for Force Collarings and Kills. And such within the homes. But some still use them.. Its like a form of the T-systems used.
777's ,, When it comes to formatting a set of 777s you have to be able in the three lines of seven words or more,, Have the following put in them..
Your entire action sequence ( if I planned on cutting ones leg off who made me angry so that they hobble on one leg for the rest of their time.)
/me looking to my rt side seeing (FOE) to my rt side 8ft facing his front as I draw my left sword from its sheath to my left hand. (intent done)
/me attempts to move to my rt side quickly 5ft while trying to turn and face him.
/me attempts to slash my left blade left from left to right towards his right outside knee.
/me attempts to try to move back quickly trying to open our distance back.
/me done
Now if that post is not broken you can see that weapon was placed in intent post. Distance was used properly, Direction was used properly and it was done in what would be a feasable manner. I.....E........... total distance is under a ten foot movement and steppping to someone and sliceing their knee off is possible.. You just gotta cut it hard.. And of course you would want to move back,, Casue well you would have just pissed him off.
And of course this would be the only two things that could save him. Him tryingto rp a tournagqute, to stop loss of blood,, Or another trying to help him.. For the blood loss would be fatal..
Magical Attempts.
(Intent)
/me looks over seeing (FOE) judging their distance at 10ft facing them from the front .
(Attack)
/me attempts to think to herself the magical incantation to her mind quickly.
/me attempts to let the magical power of explosive flames build rapidly.
/me attempt to direct the magical force towards (FOE) tryign to ignite them
