I keep looking on the internet to find the Original Chicken And Dumplings.  I either can't seem to find it or I'm just brain dead.  I haven't fixed this recipe for years and years after that.  But if I'm remembering right, my Mom used to serve it with the pieces of chicken unattached and fluffy dumplings.
The only thing I see on the internet is that you boil it first then debone it and put the pieces of meat that are deboned back into the broth.  If I'm remembering right, we never had pieces of meat floating, it was always the piece itself.  Maybe I'm incorrect on this one and I sure wish I had that recipe from my Mom or grandmother.
I know it's easier, but I don't want to fix dumplings with biscuits and I've come across plenty of those recipes too.
I will appreciate your help.  When it gets cold outside, I'd really like to have an original recipe.

Try this one Lodi. It says to boil the chicken but says nothing about having to deboning the chicken first.

Thank You Very Much Charley.  I Sure Appreciate What You've Done.

Like I said before, I will try this when the weather is colder.  I hope it turns out just fine.

No Problem. I'm always getting recipes of the net for meals. Being in school and not working has made me head cook. I think I'm going to make a cheese cake tomorrow. The only recipe that has been a hit is the brown sugar meatloaf that I found somewhere. When I get time, I'll post a recipe for chicken velvet soup. It's good stuff. I always serve it with BLT's on Crescent rolls.
