1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg whites
3/4 cup low fat milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 Tblsp canola oil
In a bowl combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt
In another bowl, beat egg whites, add milk, syrup and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until "just moist."
Pout into 9 inch baking pan that has been coated with cooking spray
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for a few minutes and eat, eat, eat while still warm
