No fertilizers, no poisons, used early on or later in the tree management regime. All brush control was by manual means. Brush stems were loosely piled for small animal habitat. Several areas of the farm were left open for deer and other larger animals. The farm was certified in 1993 and recertified in 1998 and 2003.On the recreational front it has been used for camping and fishing. Fire has not been a problem. Mice, porcupines, birds, deer, and beavers have done a bit of mischief there. We sold the place in 2004 after an unsuccessful attempt to donate it to a national conservation group.

Wow thats amazing . very interesting. thanks for telling me all that. I wonder why the conservation group didnt want it. it seems perfect.
