 Being Prepared....

As we watch the news we are told that we should be prepaired for emergencies. I do not think that we are told this to start any kind of panic, and that is most certainly not why I felt this important enough to start. But I think we should work toward emergency prepairedness as a means of finding peace knowing that should the day ever come we are able to take care of our families and our homes.

I have found some wonderful links to get us started, here is the place where we begin. We are going to do this slow and steady and make sure that we are as prepared as needed and have the peace of mind to go with it. As a homemaker I feel it is our responsiblity to ensure that we are as prepared as we can be, whether it a short power outage, a lost job, or a natural disaster we need to make sure we are prepared.

So are you ready to get started.... First step in getting prepared is to find how out perpared you are to start with. So here are two links for some preparation quizzes, there will be a post on the general boards where you can post your thoughts, concerns and your test conclusions.
