If you are interested in knitting, I suggest that you get some Bernat wool (cotton), and make dish cloths. There is the pattern on the wool. Then to learn the stitches you have to do, get yourself a book that shows you how or go online for the same instructions. They are so easy to make, and you don't have to always refer back to the pattern as the rows are all the same once you master the first couple. They make great gifts and work wondefully. Since I started to knit the cloths, I have also got into making the towels to hang on the stove or fridge. Oh and if you get into knitting, be prepared as it is very addictive. Hugs Karyn |

I do a lot of things. I have an embroidery sewing machine; do cake decorating; make candles; I am frequently called upon by friends & relatives to hook up electronics and pcs. I like to say I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. I've also done some mosaic tile work. My next big project is to make a book stand for a Bible or dictionary. I have all the wood, I'm just looking for the time. LOL. |

I haven't made candles in so long. Just about killed my Mom when she threw out all her molds. The old ones work a lot better than a lot of the new ones. Can't wait to hear about your book stand. |

Here is a picture of my latest "hobby". I'm taking the Wilton Cake decorating classes at Michaels. This is the "graduation" cake from class III. I start class II on Tuesday. Ignore the date on the photo. I keep forgetting to change it on my digital camera. This is rolled fondant. Even the roses are rolled fondant, all 40 of them, the leaves, too. It's a real cake. Some of the class use styrofoam to decorate. I donated the cake to my daughter's teachers. They were having a bridal shower the same day that I finished the cake. |

hi, I like to sew, I am starting to dabble in scrapbooking. I also like to quilt, but havent done that in years! I would like to get my kids into latchhooking, but those kit things are not cheap. I remember doing a holiday one with my family when I was growing up, kids arent into that stuff like they use to be. Right now, I am working on sewing together a thomas blanket for my son and throw pillows for my daughters. I try to look at the $1 rack of material at walmart when I go. Nala |

Where do I begin? I Crochet, I knit, but crocheting is my favorite. I have recently learned to do MSN backgrounds, and html's. I will be learning PSP and how to make tags soon. I can sew, but I haven't done it for years. I usually crochet with yarn, but am learning to crochet with thread now. I will be making doilys for Christmas gifts.
