Boy, I hope you guys are feeling better today! It's no fun being sick. There's no one to wait on us hand and foot while we rest and recover. BUMMER!
The weekend was good. DS won his football game so we're in the playoffs and have at least one more game this week.
It was General Conference for the LDS church his last Sat. and Sun.. Meaning our leaders speak to us from Church HQ (SLC) and it's broadcast across the country. Here in UT we have it good because it's carried on the local tv and radio stations and we stay home or go for a ride while we listen. Other areas still get all dandied up and go to the church to see it via satilitte (I have NEVER been able to remember the spelling of that stinkin' word!! GRRRR). Each day there are two sessions that last two hours and they give us encouragement on being more Christ-like, etc. Good stuff! DH went in to work and I cleaned the house and did laundry while I listened. SO nice to have a week off from our regular church responsibilities to get recharged.
I must admit, it was nice having DH gone so I could get something done! His back has been hurting a lot again and he's either been underfoot or wanting my constant company. BLESS HIS HEART! I quit my job two weeks ago and I've only had four days (including weekends) without DH. I love the man to bits, but I'm SO glad he's not retired yet!! Oh, the thought of it makes my stomach flop, brow sweat, and hands clammy!
Yesterday I lounged. Watched about 8 episodes of Bones and crocheted some unfinished baby blankets lying around. Nice to get those off my mind! My stomach has been icky lately too so it was probably good to take it easy.
Today it's maters. I hope my stomach cooperates! Gonna put up the last remaining tomatoes and try to tidy the kitchen in the process. Doesn't sound like much, but it'll take all day. Two Piano lessons and three boys off to scouts tonight.

MorningToni~ good to see you here today.. glad you all had a good weekend.. we did too...hope you haven't picked up one of those nasty bugs we have here in southern IL.. they say the hospital is full of people with different bugs going around.. so hoping yours isn't that.. noah said his stomach was h urting last nite, took Pepto & went to bed, he never got sick or anything, so hopefully it was something he ate.. anyhoo, it's raining, suppose to rain most of the week & we really need the rain.... been thundering around, but so far haven't turned off the pc, haven't downloaded any more work yet either, just in case.. well, I best go make good use of my time, either typing or in the house, oops there is that nasty thunder again.. I don't care if it rains all day long if the actual storming part stays away.. need to work.. oh well, hope you are very productive today w/ the maters.. anna~ hope you & Zach are better Hope you don't have what he has had freckles~ where u at lady.. r u all getting ready for Thanksgiving? - make noahs bed
- swish & swipe bath
- Tidy over LR
- turn liquid potpourri burner on (hazelnut.. yuummmy)
- turn wax burner on in LR (hazelnut coffee)
- lite noahs candle (pumpkin)
- Turn liquid potpourri burner on in kitchen(pumpkin)
- clear DR table
- clear office area/move desks around (need a fresh new start in here.. lol)
- pa clean dishes
- wash dirty dishes & pa
- sweep & mop kitchen floor, go figure I would do this on a "rainy" day..
- if it stops raining, me & kids will run over to Ky. to get mums for the front porch
- clean front porch, pull dieing (sp)? flowers out of pots, plant mums in them when I get them, will take a pic & show you when I get them done....
- laundry, whatever little bit is still down there (mostly caught up) Thank God~
- look to see if my fall decorations are downstairs
- do at least 15 minutes of cleaning in the main part of basement each time I go down..
- work reports typed x 3
- lines typed x ?
- supper:: depends, if we run to KY, (depending on weather) we will either get a subway sandwich or Pizza Hut, or mac shack, whatever sounds good at the time
- back home::: more work
- fix dh something for supper *or bring home supper?
- shower
- watch my Results show
- back to work
- bedtime

Well, I have all three home today.ugh. One good thing is, hubby found out he gets sick pay now. So, he is home and getting paid. And I, I get to lose my mind.lol Kids only have a half day tomorrow so I am going to send them then I can find out when Zach's parent teacher conference is. I really need to do some major litter box cleaning today. It is smelling all of the house.After a while that scoop litter just asbours everything.ugh
Oh, I did take the boys to the doctor and it is just a virus. |

Well, its a cloudy, rainy, gloomy day today, BUT sometimes I like a day like this.. especially when I can stay home & work.. Thank the Lord for that~ I keep thinking I am hearing thunder kinda distant, but not sure if that is what it is.. anyhooo, kelcies boyfriend is here, kinda messed up our plans of running to KY to get flowers, but at the moment it looks like it's gonna storm anyhow, so we will wait until Thursday after school, 77 degrees & sunny in the forecast for then.. then rain over the weekend.. oh well, have no supper plans, so I fixed noah an omelet for after school since we got up a little too late for one this a.m., oh well, you just can't do it all, ALL THE Time...
