It's only a 3 day school week so the kids are off after today. ~sigh It's called UEA after the Utah's Teacher's Union. They're suppose to attend continuing ed. classes for the two days, but most just use it as a four day weekend. I'd rather the kids go to school....at least this year.

Anyone want an old cat? He's 12 yo and the most miserable beast you ever met. He's mean, cranky, and bawled half the night. He has food, water, a warm bed, and he's fine during the day. What is his problem? He just wants to go out....and then claws on the window (think fingernails on a chalkboard) to come in 20 min, later. An hour after that it begins all over again.

Know the cry/howl they make when they're wanting to mate? He did that in my bedroom half the night. GRRRR! DH is suppose to put him in the garage before he comes to bed so he won't wake us all up, but he gets soft after doing it a couple nights in a row that I have to pitch a fit and threaten to strangle the beast before he'll put him out again. He, the cat, not the DH, did that 4 times last night before I hauled his miserable butt out to the garage...which doesn't have an entrance into the house and it's 30 degrees outside so I tromped across the driveway in my bare feet and bathrobe. Brrrr! I figured there's no use going back to bed. I'm too mad. I'm feeling really cranky today, but maybe it'll help me get something done.

Boys are all leaving for the deer hunt on Friday AM until Sunday so 7yo Kate and I will be alone. It is fun, but she tends to get a bit clingy and I can't pee without her needing to know where I am at all times....even when we're home! I think we'll go out some place nice for dinner and take in a movie. Maybe have a video night in my room with all the junk food. Just girl stuff.

Got a bunch or errands taken care of today. HOORAY! Stopped at Walmart for "just a couple little things" and spent $130....forgetting the main thing I stopped for. Grrrrr!!! Still, a productive day.

Kids are just starting to wander in. Better grab an Excedrin before my headache explodes. Taking it ahead of the kids means I'll be more patient with them too. BONUS! DH wants to load the family up and take them to Cabela's for some hunting equipment tonight. It's about 1 hr south of us. The kids LOVE the place. Wish it were just me and him. We haven't had a date in many moons. Still, the kids would be pretty upset if we went there without them.

Now, the looooooooong weekend begins!

Sorry for your cat problem Toni.  I'm still fighting fleas.  Spent only 2 hours doing cat tonight.  Put clothes in a plastic bag before shower and I'm just going to leave them there til tomorrow.  My poor dyed hair is drying out from all this hair washing...
 
Forget what I did today.  Still having problems replying by mail and it is driving me batty...
 
*dh up, ate, dressed, bring me coffee, make lunch, pack car, off to work
*me coffee, make ds lunch, remind him to get teacher interviews (he forgot to get one...grr)
*ds up, eat, shower, dress, pack bag, off to school
*spent the entire morning downloading stuff to send faxes from this computer.  I guess I haven't done one on new computer.  Finally got it downloaded but it wouldn't work.  Finally unplugged modem and just plugged phone cord into pc and it worked fine.  Grr.
*call insurance company and faxed them
*ordered new insulin pump
*called American office of pump to complain about Canadian office
*cooked a ham, squash with apple, onion, butter, pear stuffing for supper, ds had raw carrots
*Mom stopped by for coffee
*slept after dinner
*two hours defleaing cat, shower
