Good Morning ladies~ There is no school here today, parent/teacher conferences.. We don't have to go down there until 5:15-5:30, so that gives us the whole day to do what needs to be done, or do what we can get done, dh's off, so he don't really have anything to do, he's watching tv, me, well u all know how the day of a mom goes.... we have EVERYTHING to do... oh well, no need in getting into that this early.. don't want to ruin the day.. lol.. hope you all have a wonderful day~ God Bless~ gina yackin~ todo~ working on~ done~ add-ons**** bonus (anything extra) - dh up, turns coffee on, me up, tidy pc desk, wash my hair, wash face, lotion, dry my hair, pc on, dh tidies around his chair, dh down to start laundry, dh/coffee/tv.. me/coffee x2, pc...check emails, check on orders, check group posting & post myself
- check work & type if work is on the board, if not, make our bed, (remake noahs I stripped his yesterday & then dh took him out to his moms Noah wanted to spend the night because a friend of his is going to be at his grandmas & they are neighbors) oh well, he'll have fun today, hoping I can get his room rearranged while he is out there.

I do have to go pick something up for her.. oh well, next year I'll do it at the Golconda fall festival (which is what I should have done) oh well..

UGH! I really hate PTC. I hate setting up an appointment and setting aside my time to go and be told how much I'm not doing. Even when I have a child getting all A's there's always a longer list of "needs to improve" than here is otherwise. It's a total downer for me and my kids. I'd rather celebrate their strengths. I just got a sign up notice for ours. UGH UGH!!
Today's the day DH gets home. The kids are psyched. My 11 yo is having a really difficult time. It's like he's PMSing. This morning he gave me six different reasons why he shouldn't go to school. I wasn't buying it. When I probed a little deeper it's because he told a friend (a yr older than him) he has a crush on a girl his age......who just happens to be this friend's sister!! Of course the friend told everyone including his sister and now all the kids are teasing him. I told him that he should shrug his shoulders and say, "What's not to like? She's nice and really smart. I think you're smart and really nice too, but it doesn't mean I have a crush on you." I had him practice it several times before he left. I hope it helps diffuse the teasing. He gets enough as it is.
My list for today:
TIDY TIDY TIDY!!! kitchen tidy living room tidy and vacuum bedroom tidy family room tidy boot laundry a few times SHEETS!! 11yo mow our lawn 14yo mow neighbor's lawn Bathe the dog Dinner....either chicken pot pie or chicken enchiladas.
None of the house is really bad, but it is cluttered which never makes a good "Welcome Home" gift.
I'd also like to take he kids to get some more pictures in the leaves before they're all gone. Maybe I'll get one done up nice for DH's office. |

I know what you mean about us always have something to do. I can get a hundred things done in one day and if hubby gets one thing done we are suppose to have a parade.ugh I get the kids and animals fed, kids clothes to them, coffee pot going and dishes ready to wash and was about to go to the bathroom when hubby runs out of the bedroom to go in there.ugh He has himself to get ready and thinks it is a major thing. Of course tonight he will come home saying he is so tired and lay on his fat butt! Can you tell he is on my last nerve! I am about to watch ER that I copied and read a book. I guess I should also get dressed.lol |

Good luck with the parent/teacher things
ladies. I get so mad here when they go on about what a lovely child ds
is... I know that, tell me about his academics!!!!
Great advice for ds Toni. Great idea
to practice too. Ds went through a lot of that earlier this
year...grr.
Hope your day improves Anna. I always
find a long, hot bubblebath puts me in a better frame of mind - especially if I
have it right before ds gets home.
The Sens play a game tonight and it is on
t.v. Ds also has a game so I will probably only see first period of the
nhl game. I hate that!!! LOL - ds isn't playing nets tonight either
so I will be watching the team without one second of ds's play.
Grrr. |
