Good morning ladies, it has been so long since I've been here.  I thought we were all settled after the move but it turns out that we still needed a tighter schedule, mostly for the six year old, Olivia.  But I think we are finally on track now.

Today I plan to do a PiC and Laundry Marathon and the kids will be joining me.  We've been so busy with extra curriculur activities that things have been pushed to the wayside but are now spilling over into the central part of the house....

Here is the list thus far:

coffee on
make dh's lunch
dh off to work
meds/beds
breakfast
dressed to shoes
load/run dishwasher
start laundry
clear all kitchen counters/scrub
scrub kitchen sink
sweep/mop kitchen floor
*cupboard swap*
clear livingroom of clutter
dust/vacuum livingroom
light a smelly candle
collect stray laundry from bedrooms
dustmop all hardwood floors
polish bathroom mirror
clear bathroom counter
scrub counter/sink/tub/shower/toilet
replace towels
sweep/scrub bath floor
reload dishwasher
start dinner
sweep/mop basement stairs

I'll be back....

Laura

LA~ SOOOOOO nice to see you're still kickin'! I've been revamping my life and routine too. Turns out that at 36 (OMG I just had to figure out my age. I drew a complete blank!!) I need a tighter schedule. Go figure! In the last three weeks I've gotten all the carpets cleaned (stairs hadn't been done in years), some nasty cupboards and broom closet, the overpacked linen closet, and a few closets and storage areas (read: stash and dash areas) Some had things dated 2005 & 06 in them! ACK!!!! However, I must admit, as much work as they were, I feel so much lighter and more at peace. Only one major room to go and the kids' rooms and I'll have a pretty well organized home. HOORAY! That should make life run more smoothly for all of us. Good luck with everything you have going!!

Gina~ Was that a hint? You must have a birthday coming up. What day?

DH is home from Memphis and in an incredibly good mood. YEAH! He's wanting to get some things done around the house. Sorry Anna, I wish there was a pill or button you could push to make it happen.....and so do I! This is a oddity, but who am I to complain?!?!

Oh, the dog chewed up another new shoe of mine this morning. ARRRGGGHHH!!! 11yo ds was sitting on the couch right next to her and didn't even blink. Yes, he had his gameboy. Grrrr! She also peed and pooped on the carpets I had just cleaned yesterday. Why are the kids completely paralyzed when it comes to letting the dog out???? And I think DD may have strep. It's only 9:30AM here and I already have a screaming headache.

My plans for today:

-Birthday present shopping (3 kids have parties to go to) January must be a busy time!
-make zucchini bread YUMMY!
-Get Sunday clothes prepared so there aren't any wild goose chases tomorrow AM
-Run away for a few hours.
-Dinner theater with the neighbors

Well my laundry is actually getting done, but is taking much longer than I had hoped it would.  So far I've washed and hanged 5 loads and I've dried and put away one load.

I will clean the bathroom counter, sink and toilet while dd is in the tub and then I will be done for today.  Floor scrubbing will have to wait until Monday.

Have a great evening all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I hope your day is assaloopy maaaaahhhhhhvelous. Any big plans, adventures, or excitement? Or, are you like me and the less exciting and adventurous the better? Either way, I hope it's just what you needed. {{{{HUGS}}}}

Yup. Kate has strep so she and I stayed home from church today. Meant to get a lot done, but crawled back in bed instead. Had DD wake me up when Peter Pan was over. She did and what had been an hour and a half, felt like 10 minutes! I took a bath then visited with my mom. Had 10 minutes to clean up before DH and the kids got home. lol We ate dinner and I'm baking some zucchini bread. Been meaning to do it for days. IT SMELLS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! Definitely a treat to me today...and it's not even my birthday! If you lived closer I'd bring you each a warm loaf!!

~Toni
