I'm sorry ya'll aren't liking Multiply. I sure didn't at first, but I spent a while to thoroughly looked it over and I'm actually quite impressed! I know you can't post colors and picts, but I can't on my Mac anyway so that's not a worry of mine.

One feature I really like is the option to categorize posts based on subjects. So, say, in a few months I wanted to find Anna's post about the Employee/child expectations, I could easily find it without digging through months of other posts.

It does have it's drawbacks, namely, it isn't MSN, but, if it isn't MSN, that gets rid of a heap of problems too, doesn't it? lol Anyway, that's just my opine.

Haven't been up to much today. Deep moisturized my face, hands, feet, and hair today and spent a bunch of time updating my Facebook page per my family's request. They wanted to see soe more pictures of the kids. Oh, and I made a suer YUMMY salad my kids are sure to steer clear of. lol They're getting to the age that they'll eat anything that isn't nailed down....and they'll still gnaw on that for a while.

It's a crab salad we had at a little bookstore bistro in downtown SLC. The ingredients are:

shredded cabbage (I used a coleslaw premade mix)
asiago cheese
bleu cheese
avocado cream
crab meat
Coriander vinagrette

I didn't have all these exact ingredients (I have various vinegars and coriander, no vinagrette. I have avocados, but don't know their recipe for the creme) so I sort of came up with my own and put a teeny-tiny bit of ranch dressing on it. OMGOSH! SO GOOD!! I never would have believed bleu cheese and crab would make such a great combo. Paired with sliced avocados and it was sublime. Just remember, a little bleu cheese goes a LONG way!! think cucumbers, sliced red peppers, or even some fresh slices of tomatoes would be yummy with it too.

OK. 7yo DD just announced she LOVES it. Luckily she doesn't raid the fridge like her brothers do. lol

~T

Well I have no idea what I did today but the day sure flew by.

Washed a fancy wool sweater and hung to dry, some more laundry, showered (good shave) - changed meds - dressed, out to chalk talks lunch (which was fabulous)(so walk there and walk back was exercise), read book a bit, make supper, watch hockey game on t.v.  Dh came home from work really tired so not sure we're going to totally different part of town to my fav italian grocery store or not tomorrow...

So glad to hear you're feeling better.  Great idea to use the slow cooker today so supper will not be crisis in case you are feeling poorly then.  Dinner is always my worst hour.

Roflmbo...  Well of course we knew you were perfect Anna!  How could you possibly be a part of this group and not be perfect?  Aren't we all...  Oh I am killing myself laughing she is such an idiot...

Toni one of the main reasons I don't like multiply is that you cannot post in colours.  Not that I have been doing well on that front but my old plan is done in red, in progress in green, to do in black and talking in blue.

I also HATE that I can't reply to e-mails.  I find it much quicker to reply this way and not have to sign into the board, that is just a personal preference though.

I am mad at msn because it won't let me post many pics anymore.  Some odd thing it did to me.  I used to really enjoy using gifs and pics. That is one of the reasons I suggested Yahoo.  I didn't like yahoo when I first started using it but now prefer it for pics and speed of messages getting to board.
