It has been a real pain in the rear to get into any group lately. |

I agree. Slow here too and I have a Mac which usually means I don't have the same MSN problems. HAS to be MSN. Maybe it's their way of weaning us off the sites.
Freckles~ Glad to see you survived yesterday. Sounded like a rough day for you. I'm glad you at least got a nice bath out of it. I'm just glad it wasn't me who called and got you out!! lol
Gina~ How did the soup turn out? DH decided he wanted tacos. Being that he wanted to do the cooking, I let him, but was disappointed I didn't get my enchiladas or potato soup. I think it's best the day after! I'll eat several bowls of it then. Thankfully there's no fat in it....at all. bahahahaha
Anna~ What are you up to, woman?
Alright. Here is the king of compliments: 11yo DS walked into the house yesterday after school (mind you, this is the son with high functioning autism so his social skills are a little rough around the edges....to say the least!) and he said to me, "Mom, something feels really different in the house. Everything looks about the same, but it just feels really good." After that he walked into the kitchen which was MEGA CLEAN (I'm talking the cleanest it's probably been in a year or more!) and he said, "It's so nice to come home to a clean house! You've been working hard!"
I LOVE IT!!! I couldn't have asked for a better compliment....especially from him! Totally made my day. I'm so grateul I had the opportunity to work outside the home last year. It was WONDERFUL and I thoroughly enjoyed the work and the people, but really, it mostly helped make me a more satisfied at-home mom. Now, I can honestly say I love it here.
Today's list...which is also part of yesterday's:
-Sort through another pile at my desk (been emptying old files and drawers. More 2005 and '06 stuff.) -mop kitchen floor -Mop family room floor (we have stained concrete in the basement) -Vacumm FR rugs -boot laundry -15 min in storage room -15 min in mstr bdrm -vacuum stairs |
