I love the commercial (I think it's Home Depot) where the family is frantically searching through the house. It shows each member of the family digging under beds, in drawers, in the basement, and the storage room. Finally the dad yells, "FOUND IT!" everyone comes running and they look at the paper Dad has just found. It's their New Year's Resolution paper from the previous year(s). It says something like: Get in Shape, Spend more time with the family, organize the house, etc. The mom looks sadly at it and says, "I guess we could move organize the house up to the top this year." bahahaha Isn't that how it goes? I'm sure I could recycle the same list year after year. HEY! That could count as being more green, couldn't it?? lol
My basic list:
-Simplify the house....purge excess. -Prepare more home cooked meals -work on menu keeping! -Organize the food storage room so we don't waste so much time and money -Pray, write in journal, and read scriptures more -Organize my binders (church, health, work, piano lessons, etc) -Get the main level all painted and decorated. -Be more patient with my DH and kids |
