1 head cabbage, chopped
1 lb. ground meat /hamburger
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into bite sized pieces
1/4 cup cooking oil
1cup raw rice
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 ribs celery, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. chili powder
1 can Ro-tell tomatoes
Saute hamburger in oil til done (season as desired)
Add chopped onions, celery & sausage. Cook til veggies are clear.
Combine meat & remaining ingredients.
Place in a large casserole dish
Bake (covered) @ 275 for 2 hours.
Reheats well, but does not freeze well.
