FIRE & ICE PICKLES
2 jars large size whole dill pickles, drained
4 cups sugar
4 T. hot sauce( add more if not hot enough to suit you)
3/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
3 cloves garlic
1 lge. onion thinly sliced

Cut pickles into 1/4" thick slices
Combine pickle slices, sugar, hot sauce, red pepper, onion & garlic in a large bowl.
Stir well.
Cover mixture &let stand 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Spoon mixture back into original jars, cover & refreigerate up to 1 month.
For best flavor, wati 1 week before eating.
Yield: 3 pints
