The Master Bedroom -ceiling webbies -clean light fixtures/ceiling fans -clean inside and outside of windows, wash screens, put in storm windows -wash drapes, blinds and rehang, clean curtain rod -fingerprints off walls -windex mirrors, art, etc -dust -tidy/organize/clean night stand -clean coasters, runners, placemats -cull books from bookshelves -is that give-away bag in the corner, drop it off at centre -tidy/organize/clean all horizontal surfaces -disinfect phone, remotes, etc -pa all tapes, etc. where they belong -all toys out of here -anything in here that doesn't belong? Get rid of it! -got through jewellery box and shine a piece; pick out a new piece to wear this week or over the holidays -clean and polish shoes, reorganize shoes -pa all seasonal clothes, are all your winter/fancy holiday clothes out yet -vacuum and steam clean carpets -tidy a shelf in closet or a drawer, get rid of old icky stuff -make sure all cameras are ready to go -polish furniture -put away anything that is just hanging around -does the flashlight in bedside table have fresh batteries in it -water, deadhead, rotate plants/wash fake plants -strip bed, flip mattress, vacuum and spray mattress, wash mattress cover, fresh linens, put blankets out in sun or wash them, wash quilt/bedpread/comforter/pillows -all dirty laundry downstairs or wherever laundry room is -clean under bed -wash door, frame, mouldings -is your gift wrap centre ready to go -dust fake flowers -water and deadhead plants -rearrange art -empty trash -essential oil on light ring, wash light ring -freshen potpourri -wash baseboards -are your journal and nice pen right beside the bed; is your favourite book/bible here -tidy and organize craft gear -get one thing for mbed that will make u happy -put chocolates or mints on pillows, turn down bed |

This is one room I have been ignoring. I think I will focus on it since I will have some more time this week with the boys out of school. I just have a short counsling appt. monday and tue. two parent/teacher conference and then the week is mine.Anna |

-strip bed, vacuum and spray mattress with scotchguard, buy mattress cover, fresh linens, wash old comforter and
replace on bed, new comforter and pillow shams on bed
-gift wrap centre ready to go
-empty trash
-freshen potpourri Christmas one with new essential oil on candle warmer turn on candle warmer
-get one thing for mbed that will make u happy (comforter set)
-dust
-clean light fixtures/ceiling fans
-vacuum and steam
clean carpets |

Well, I'm good in this room but going thru this looooooooooooooong list & seeing what else I can do... probably more than I thought... when I put that HOT SPOT out the other day, that made such a big difference, but I do still need to do some of this.... so here I gooooo, will work on this list tomorrow when I'm taking study breaks.. dh will be gone before kids leave for school, so will have the house to myself ALL day... WHOOHOOO!!! red is DONE! | -vacuum x 2 and steam clean carpets -all dirty laundry downstairs -clean under bed -make sure all cameras are ready to go, recharge batteries -how can you spend hours tidying bookshelf and have it end up messier than before????? 
The bedroom will eventually have birchbark wallpaper on one or two of the walls so this will go great when it finally gets all done...rofl. I think my new years resolution should be ... don't put stuff on top of headboard...rofl... |
