You have got to stop looking so pitiful Honey, Pappa will be Home soon, I promise She's not like this all the time, she has assured me that I will do for nowbut her Pappa is never far from her mind. She is a Daddy's girl through and through Diva on the other hand, no problemo. LOL! And Mikey, well he's just being goofy Mikey. LOL! And a quick update on my FIL: Tod called last night and gave me the "sit down, we need to talk" line. I said, "when is he coming?" and he said we need to make it as soon as possible, but he has to have that heart surgery before he can go anywhere. Tod and I have talked about this time and time again, we agreed if our any of our parents needed to come and live with us then they would, no questions asked. And sadly it sounds like my FIL's mind is starting to fail him and simple daily decisions are giving him a hard time. Everything is in the beginning stages, lots of meetings with Dr's and Care Coordinators trying to come up with a plan that works best. He(FIL) really wants to stay in Myrtle Beach but knows he needs to keep an open mind because we are trying to do what's best for him. I promised my Mother in Law before she passed away that I would take care of both Wolfe men if she wasn't here to do it and I plan on keeping my promise. I may require medication but I"m going to do it! LOL! Tod keeps asking me if I'm OK with it and I am so OK with it, I know we can do this. We'll get through it the way we have alot of things...together So as I find new things out I will let you all know. Thank you so much for all the prayers and good thoughts you have sent our way. I read them all to Tod last night, he was really touched. Sheila P.S. Tod and his Uncles have blocked any further activity concerning my FIL's finances and his supposed friends. What a mess that is but at least it can't go on anymore. |

Hi Sheila, Oh, I'm so sorry for Kye, I know she misses her Daddy!! And I bet you do, too. It's wonderful that you can accept everything that is going on, it's hard, but that's what relationships are all about. They are still in our thoughts and prayers, and so glad that everything is on hold with the other situation, at least those awful people can do no more harm. Tracey |

Awww Kye sweetie, I know you miss Pappa...so does Mama. But he'll be home soon. And I'm with Trice about the pink tongue peep-show...to cute! And Mikey, my man...you're just lovin' life! Sweetpea~I'm so glad that Tod & his uncles have gotten some things taken care of. I know Tod's heart is breaking over how far things had gone. But things will be much better with his dad in Alaska, where he'll have the best caregiver in the world looking out for him. It's great that you & Tod had already made plans for that "what if" scenerio. I guess it's something we all need to do. We're still sayin' lots of prayers for all of you, and thinkin' good thoughts always! Love Ya C |

Sheila, Kye looks a litte lost without her daddy. I hope she perks up soon, poor baby. I love that picture of Diva!! She looks like she hit the vino a little too hard!! And Mikey is as cute as always. I think a few of us have dealt with similar situations with what you and Tod are dealing with. If I can be of any help, please let me know. I know it's hard to have to parent a parent....so unnatural. That was one of the hardest parts for me. But like you, I had Dwight and it made a huge difference. I'm so glad you and Tod really rely on each other to get through. I'm still praying for your whole family. I hope you all can feel peace because of all of us who are praying for you. Laura |

Poor Tod, he sounded flustered tonite. I think the reality of everything is setting in plus he's trying to accept the fact that his Dad has changed alot from the last time we saw him. I told him let's just go day by day, it's all we can do. His mind is all over the place, and rightfully so, it's alot to intake. Trice, a friend that works at the Lions Club called and said they were getting ready to lock the baseball fields up for the season so if I wanted a big fenced in yard for the afternoon, bring Mikey on down. That was taken last month, ran him silly I did! Wanda, I'll probably give you a call this weekend. Some of Muriel's daughters are here from out of state to visit their sick sister in the hospital so they've been stopping out practically every day. I think they leave Friday Chris, that tag is one of my favorites cause I love that you were able to get them on the bag of dog food too. To cute. Thank you so much for the prayers friends. Hugs & More Hugs, Sheila |

It's always a shock when it finally sets in that someone you love is getting "older". It's like we have this mental picture in our heads, and when we see that person, and they've changed, it's hard to compute. Especially when we haven't seen them for a while. I just wish that there was a way for you to be there with him, to help him through all of these things. But I know that he'll be home soon. It's cool that they're letting you play with Mikey at the baseball field. Most places wouldn't dream of doing that. That's a great friend, and I'm glad that you have them! Sending lots more love, prayers, & hugs! C |
