Here's more pics and for her name ...  I'm still thinking ... and it's not easy ...
Her name will probably be "Amy Rose" if I don't find anything else ... :)

The spelling of Amy in english looks like Ami in french ... which means friend. And that's what it's all about, she's a friend for Daisy. And Rose because I need another flower name.

I've always thought of getting a friend for Daisy because you know how much
caring she is with her toys. The ferret math rule here was if I find another baby
like Daisy 7-8 weeks old  (too young to be sold in a petstore), before Daisy is
2 years old, I'll bring that baby to Daisy.

During 1 year and 9 months ...I haven't seen one, they were always bigger/older
like 10 weeks old. Now I don't know if it's the Magic of Christmas but this last
Friday Dec 23 when we went to the petstore to buy some FerretVite for Daisy ...
that baby was there sleeping with an older one ... :)

She seems happy to be here ... look at her smile LOL

They are in separate cages in different rooms but Daisy is so very curious ... she's the one who's asking all the time to see the baby. Only a few minutes at a time and everything seems to work great. Daisy can hiss at her sometimes but that's all. She
hasn't really touched her yet, she hasn't tried to drag her around either.

Now you wish me luck and ...  I'll need your help ... it's the first time that I introduce a ferret to another one ... I'll appreciate any advice ... I try to read everything I can !!!!  :)

Thank You Robin !!!

I need to be careful as the baby will see the vet only this Friday afternoon ...
it wasn't possible to have an appointment before. They are too busy for now.
Amy Rose seems to be top shape though.

Like I've told you yesterday, she reminds me my first little boy Cookie (RIP)
she's so dark ... I'll have to find a pic of him to show you.

Oh and she is already litter trained ... she's such a good girl. She follows Daisy everywhere and she's learning from her I think. She's really smart !  :)

Now her favorite toy is that frog, she's almost as big as she is but she's able to drag it everywhere  LOL

Linda,
I'm so happy for you.  It will be so much fun watching the two of them playing together.  I think every ferret needs another to play with.  They are so funny in some of the things they think up and do together.  One will get a great idea, and the other one will help in anyway he can to pull it off.  When they work together to move things around to where they can climb on them is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.  I remember every baby I got when Rusty was here, he'd drag it by its neck behind the couch and hide it with the rest of his toys.  He never once hurt one though.

Amy Rose is a cute little girl and just the right size to bring home.  I envy you and Kevin your new babies.  Merry Christmas.

Such a flowery name you gave that precious little girl, Linda.  Amy Rose fits that little one just fine.  It's funny the way we pick out names for our kids.  I've always gone the route of Soap Opera, Italian, or hick names for mine.  Amy Rose is just so cute and look at all those toys Daisy and Amy Rose have.  I'm not going to tell mine that Daisy and Amy Rose got Christmas presents because mine got nothing.  Always looks like Daisy and Amy Rose are so docile and laid back in their pictures.  Mine just want to go, go, go.  They don't have time for pictures or hugs.  I want to congratulate you again on your new addition to the family.  Amy Rose is just precious.  Hope Amy Rose and Daisy are still getting along OK.  Kevin's Ducky isn't having any problems.  Hope Amy Rose is doing OK, too.

The vet says that everything is fine for Baby Rose ...
I'll come back soon to tell you more ... :)

A Very Happy New Year to you all !!!

I enjoyed your New Year's video, Linda.  I had to laugh.  Looks like Daisy and Amy Rose got pretty worn on celebrating.  They looked pretty tired in some of the pictures.  Both Amy Rose and Daisy are so cute and it looks like they will be getting along just fine.  You are very lucky!

Linda,
How's your girls doing these days?  I bet you are wondering how you ever got along with just one for so long.
