Seems like every time I post, it's to say I'm sorry I haven't felt like posting. I lost my Lucky four weeks ago this past Friday, and it's so hard not to be greeted by his sweet little face every morning. He had been doing fine, but all of a sudden he went down suddenly. I got his ashes back Monday of this week.
We have just finished up with a ton of company. Friday is our 50th anniversary, but all of Charlie's family decided they would come here to celebrate it this past weekend. Since I wasn't able to go anywhere, they decided they would bring it to us. (Thanks a lot!. Company is just what I needed.) I suffered through it O.K., but I'm glad to see it over. Steve and his family stayed with us, but the rest stayed a motels. It was good to see Steve and family especially my grandson I hadn't seen in quite a while. I certainly am glad to see it all over now and things starting to get back to normal with getting a lot sleep. My foot is still getting better, but it's sure taking a long time. I changed doctors, and this one seems to be doing me much more good. I'm hopeful that things will start getting better, but it's going to take a long time to get over my Lucky. Summerlilly |

After you told me about Lucky, Summerlilly, I felt so bad. I've been thinking about him lately. He was so precious and what terrific pictures you got of him. I'm really going to miss him too. I'm glad you changed doctors. Seems like you were doing more suffering with that other doctor. Glad to hear your foot is getting better and finally on the mend. Happy Anniversary to you and Charlie. Fifty years is a long time. That's great. I'm sure you enjoyed your company a little bit and I can understand how you would be glad to see everyone leave. Just bet they all wore you out. Glad you got to see Steve and family. Seems like it's been a while since you have seen him. Now you can rest and relax again. |
