My Dear Friends,

My world practically ended with Charlie's unexpected death.  He walked out of my room and said he would see me in the morning, and I never saw him again.  He went home and had a heart attack.  I am in a nursing home now, and was in the hospital for a month.  I have so many problems I can't even start to naming them.

 

We had Darcy put to sleep leaving me only Rascal and Ace.  Jannette took Ace, and the neighbor across the street took Rascal...I hear he's happy playing with one of their dogs.  Hilde, I gave to Charlie's best friend.  I'm without animals now, and don't expect to ever go home to live.  Steve is going to move me up with him so he can take care of me.

 

Phyllis, if you want to manage this community,tell me.  Other wise I'll close it.  My fingers are too stiff to type now plus no strenth.  I'm on the nursing home's wireless network.  So, I'll try to write more later.

I cannot believe all of this is happening to you, Lawanda.  It has to be your worst nightmare.  I had no idea any of this was happening to you.  I wish you had let me know.  Who would have known a year or two ago that all of this would have happened.  I feel so bad for you.   You have lost far more than one can bare.   I wish there was something I could do to help.  Do you have an e-mail address there or a phone number?  I hope Steve can get you out of there soon so you will at least be around family.

 

Don't worry about the community.  That is the least of your worries.  I will keep it going for a while but I expect I will eventually close it down.

I came over to console Linda with the passing of Daisy, and saw this post. 

I'm so sorry, my friend.  I don't know what to say:(  You have been on my mind.  I missed your bd Aug 1st, and thought I'd better check on you too.  You and yours will, definitely, be in my thoughts and prayers.  Gentle hugs....

I still can't type too well.  My fingers just can't seem to find the right keys especially on this laptop.  I'll be here for 2 or 3 weeks more, and then I hope to be able to travel to Arkansas.  I hope to be able to have a small place and not have to go to another nursing home.  Some of the tales you hear about them are true, but no worse than the hospital was.  I go to my cardolgist tomorrow and will see what he has to say about my condtion.  They want to put in a combination defibulator and pacemake, but I'm going to resist as long as I can.  I'm in no condition for another operation at this time.  Culharlie has a difibulator,  and it didn't help him.

Thanks Remus Dad.  I grew up at Piggott, but I will be over in the Nortkhwest corner close to Tulsa, Ok.  Thanks for your concern.  I loved your ferret video.  It looks fine to me.  Made me miss all my ferrets I used to have.  I hope to be out of here before long if everthing goes better than it has been.  Keep up the good work and thanks.
