I went to the Dr. for a check-up on Jun. 18.  That night the hospital called and said it was critical that I come in for blood transfusion.  I was loosing blood internally.  I got 5 units of blood that trip.  They did every test they could think of, but could't find where it was going.  They finally decided that I wasn't making enough and that one of my heart valves was chewing it up.  I stayed a month and went to the rehab to get my strength back.  I then had to go back to the hospital to have the water pumped out of my blood.  It works just like kidney dialisis, but separates the water from the blood.  Since then I've had to go back to the hospital to have transfusions about three different times.  There seems to be no end to it.  I have an infection in my blood stream that I'm having to take antibotics for thru an IV.  I had them 6 weeks and then found I was rid of that infection but had another one that I'm now in about the last week or so of another 6 week treatment.  If I ever get the window, I'm going up with Steve and find new doctors and another hospital.  Anything will be better than what I'm caught in now.

I really miss Charlie, my ferrets, and yes, the dog, Hilde.  My neighbors across the street have cleared the house, held a garage sale, and taken care of my wants here.  Without them, I don't know what I would have done.  As soon as everything is probated, Steve and I are selling the house and I just won't live in Florida anymore.  I'm in the process of getting used to the idea and thinking it's been a long time since I've seen snow.  Steve took some of the things I wanted to keep back last week including all the cameras and equipment.  I really miss not having a camera handy.

 

I wished all of you would not let this community die.  I hate not having a ferret to shoot, but I'd still likto keep seeing all of yours.  Let me hear from some of you.
