Just wanted to wish every one a Merry Christmas, and to appologize for not being around much this month. We lost one of our Fuzzies on Dec 3, and we're having a hard time getting into the spirit of the holidays.

I understand, KL.  I lost one of mine, Reggie, on December 5.  I thought he was doing OK.  He went downhill very fast.  Really puts a damper on the holiday spirit.  What happened to your fuzzy?  Boy, girl?  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for your words of sympathy. Tux was our chubby cuddle butt. He started bleeding from his rear, the vet said it was a rare complication from a tumor in his liver. Had he survived he was looking at suffering from cancer.

The bad part of owning a ferret is that they almost always die from some form of cancer.  I lost one at 9 years old and the youngest to die was around 3 years old.  Losing these beautiful bundles of fur is so tough.  I'm so sorry you lost Tux.  Robin, I hope Eve hangs in there a long time.

I feel so bad about Charlie.  I remember when you lost him.  I hope Eve continues to do OK.  I knew Reggie was slowing down but I didn't expect to lose him in December.  Now I'm watching Gomez.  I don't think he has a lot of time left.  He's having some problems with his walking.  If it keeps up, I expect I will have to take him to the vet next week.
