I have never heard of the "blaze" before but I have heard of "sable". Chloee looks to be a sable just her mask is not complete across her muzzle. As for her hearing it is quite good! She responds to any noise around her even to the point of hidding under the couch.
Stinger, a blaze would look like one of Lawanda's ferrets Lucky on the Ferret Fotography welcome page. I'm glad Chloee can hear OK. Makes it tough to find them when they are hiding somewhere when they can't hear you or a squeeky toy. She is a cutie. How about some more pictures of her.
