I want you to pray for our Dear Friend Kevin aka Ferret-3.

As many of us know, he's fighting against cancer

for more than a year now ...

I've just got news from her wife Jill a few days ago

and I have to tell you ...

I have to share the terrible news ...

From Jill (Kevin's wife)

Just want to let you know that Kevin is not doing very well. Last time he was in the hospital his doctor said to prepare for the worst (that was at the end of May), he is still fighting this cancer but losing strength. Hospice comes in every day to help me out with Kevin. I'm out on social security disability because of the MS. I can't leave Kevin alone all day, I really need to be here.

Kevin had a good day yesterday, hopefully it will continue today. I just take one day at a time. I will keep you posted on Kevin.

I've been thinking of Kevin during this past year a lot,

sending him pics and videos of my fur kids ...

the only way I had found to tell him that I was thinking of him ...

I miss the chats that we've had together here

at Ferret Fotography, I miss his help and tips

with ferrets and photography,

I miss reading from him and from his ferrets also ...

Kevin just doesn't deserve

what's happening to him ...

It just breaks my heart into pieces !!!!

Keeping Kevin and Jill in my thoughts and prayers

I got a Christmas card from Kevin and Jill and I was so glad he was hanging in there. After I found out about Lawanda, I started to wonder how Kevin was doing. It breaks my heart to hear he isn't doing that well. We all have had so much fun together, especially during our chats. We have lost our dear friend Lawanda. I don't want to lose our dear friend Kevin. Kevin and Jill will be in my thoughts and prayers. Kevin is a wonderful man. Hang in there buddy.

You are still in my thoughts and prayers, Kevin. Hang in there buddy. Jill really needs you. The ferrets really need you, too. In fact, we at FF need you.

I'm back with very sad news .... just got this email from Jill,

Just to let you know that Kevin passed away this morning around 1:00 am. I was with him when he passed. He fought a long battle but this one he just couldn't win.

I hate to be going through this again. We have lost Lawanda, now Kevin. Kevin was one of the nicest and kindest guys I have known. Poor Kevin put himself in the middle of all us hens at chat week after week. We all had so much fun Wednesday evenings. Kevin took wonderful pictures of his ferrets and we all got to see them. Kevin also had a vast knowledge of ferrets and was always available if we had any questions. I'm going to miss my friend Kevin or F3. I've shed many tears thinking about both Kevin and Lawanda. Even though I never met Kevin or Lawanda, I considered them friends. Friends I will miss so very much. Friends I wish didn't have to leave us. I send my condolences to Jill, Kevin's wife. Please take care of yourself Jill and please know how much we liked Kevin and will miss him.

Kevin always told me that 3 ferrets was the best number to have and

as Jill has only 2, Ducky & Lya, IMO she needed a third one.
