Rose, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I can't believe she never showed any signs. That's unbelievable. I wish there was a cure for cancer, both for humans and animals. It's a terrible disease and doesn't age discriminate. Your Mom just seems to plug along and hang in there. That's great. God bless her.

I've lost a few people too. My stepfather died in October. My mother fell and we thought broke her hip. Luckily she didn't but they did have to put in a couple pins. She just turned 86 and is doing pretty good getting used to those pins in her hip. The week I found out Lawanda had died, my aunt had a stroke. She just turned 91. A week after she had her stroke, she died. That was last Friday. When you start getting older, you never know what is going to happen. The worst part of getting older is losing your parents and relatives.
