Online Safety The internet and groups / chat rooms (whatever your service provider) can be a fun place to spend some time online. However, please remember that the person you are talking to could be anybody at all in the world. That person may be who they say they are, but on the other hand they may not be. Therefore please do not give out any personal details to somebody you have met on the internet, unless they have been checked out or you are absolutely sure it is safe.
