Dont know why but these olympics have not captured my imagination at all. Its surprising really because i love all sports and usually follow the olympics quite closely. Perhaps i shall grow into them who knows.

the harsh truth is that we are not that good at many olympic sports these days,   
 
the only feilds we tend to do consistently well at are the rowing and equestrian events

We've always been good at the sailing events, and quite often the cycling.

I must admit cycling is an area we have improved in recent years in.
