Ican't remember if I ever introduced myself to the group or not. Just one of the small side-affects from the surgery(more 'bout that that as I go on). SWM I am.....just about to turn the big 50 in a few weeks, altho that's not the anniversary I'm looking forward to. The one I am looking at....is...3 yrs ago coming up on 3 Aug., I had major brain surgery for an unruptured aneurysm. I pulled through it...but it definitely left some new things I have to deal with. Memory's shot and by that I mean I can turn around or be in the middle of a conversation and forget...just that quick. I hardly ever watch re-run movies, becuz when I see them....it's like the first time. The same with books. I read, re-read and sometimes read again, before I realize..."Hey...this seems familiar." other news about me...is I've beaten cancer...going on 8 yrs now in remission and hoping it'll never rear it's ugly head again. Just lost all my belongings in a fire. My sister's place burnt to the ground with all my stuff from storage in it. All my negs/photos from
various trip around the world, computer and my life from living these last 50. I'm still here tho....and fightin' 'n kickin'! I ain't goin' without a fight. More later...maybe!
