My brother and I was born on same day 1 year apart and we never missed a birthday together. My husband and I moved to Maryland from Pennsylvaniain 1989 shortly after our son was born and I thought for sure that this was the year I would miss being with my brother. When my husband returned from work he was puttering around the house and asked me to get our son ready he wanted to take me on a drive for my birthday. He took some back country roads and suprised me with it being a trip back to Pa to see my brother on our birthday. That was awesome!! BTW the puttering around the house he was doing was secretly packing a overnight bag for our son and me  |

I know I had a few parties as a girl but I can only remember bits and pieces, but remember them as happy, I think when i was 8 and 10 and my last party I had at home with my parents I was 13 and that was pretty good although, we played spin the bottle and I had to kiss a boy but did not know how to kiss and I went to peck him and for some reason I felt embarrest because it seemed like they were all waiting for me to stick my tongue in, ewwww....lol......
