1 Lb. Applesauce
1/8 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 12 Oz. Can Pork Luncheon Meat
Whole Cloves
1 Lb. Can Sweet Potatoes
½ Cup Apricot Jam
½ tsp. Dry Mustard
1 Tbsp. Water
Mix applesauce and ginger in a shallow 6 cup baking dish. Halve meat lengthwise, then cut each half into 12 squares almost through to the bottom; stud squares with whole cloves. Place on top of applesauce in dish. Slice sweet potatoes and arrange around meat. Combine remaining ingredients in 1 cup measure; spread mixture evenly over meat and potatoes. Bake in a 400 degree oven 30 minutes or until hot and glazed. Makes 4 servings.
