4 c apples, peeled, sliced 1 tbs lemon juice 1 c quick-cooking oats 1/3 c flour 1/2 c brown sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 c melted margarine 2-1/2 c water
Grease a heat-proof bowl that fits easily inside your cooker. Make an aluminum foil sling, if needed, for easier removal. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and margarine. Layer apples and oat mixture, beginning and ending with apples in the bowl. Cover with aluminum foil. Pour water into cooker. Place bowl on rack in cooker. Lock lid and bring to full pressure. Adjust heat to maintain temperature and cook for 20 minutes. Quick-release pressure. Serve warm with whipped or ice cream.

Cooking Directions: Sprinkle apples with lemon juice. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and margarine. Place alternate layers of apples and oat mixture, beginningwith and ending with apples, in a buttered metal bowl that fits losely in the the cooker. Cover bowl with aluminum foil. Pour water into cooker. Place bowl on rack in cooker. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook 20 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly. Cool cooker at once.
