Spaghetti Meat Sauce - Genie

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 green pepper, diced
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup water
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoons sugar
3 drops Tabasco sauce
16 ounce tomato paste

Heat cooker and brown beef.  Stir in remaining ingredients, except
tomato paste.  Close cover securely.  Place pressure regulator on
vent pipe and cook 8 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly.
Cool cooker at once.  Stir in tomato paste and simmer, uncovered
to desired thickness.  Serve sauce over long spaghetti.

Pressure Cooker Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb bulk Italian sausage
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
2 bay leaves
28 oz. can stewed tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
Brown beef and sausage in pressure cooker. Remove meat with slotted spoon and drain off fat from cooker. Return meat to cooker and the rest of the ingredients. Lock lid in place. Bring cooker up to high pressure and cook for 10 minutes. Quick release the pressure and carefully remove lid. Remove bay leaves and serve over cooked spaghetti and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
