Attention Hotmail & MSN Users:

As you've probably noticed, we've been having a hard time getting the newsletter to you lately. Hotmail / MSN must have put in some new filters and they end up blocking us from time to time. I'm writing this to you now because we should be OK for delivery today - but no promises after this!

We are in the process of hopefully getting this worked out with MSN & Hotmail, but in the mean time I know you want your newsletters. So, we have 4 ideas for you:

1. Signup with a new e-mail account (once you have a new account, visit our homepage to sign up for the newsletters). If you're a hotmail user, I'd suggest using your "real" e-mail address. If you have MSN, you'll probably want to go with a free e-mail from somewhere else. AOL and Yahoo both have us whitelisted and offer excellent free e-mail accounts.

2. View the newsletter online. All of our newsletters are posted at the website each day at midnight EST. This page is updated with each new newsletter, so you can always get your daily does of tips that way:

3. You may want to download our free Newsletter Reader software. It guarantees you'll get the newsletter every day and will let you know when new ones are ready. Check it out - thousands (and thousands) of our readers use this to get our info each and every day:

4. Grab our RSS feed. If you have an RSS feed reader, check out our RSS feed:

Hopefully we'll be able to get this resolved soon., but at least you have some work arounds until then. I'm very sorry about the delivery problems. I'll keep you updated.

Show Them Your Wow

What does the "wow" factor mean to you? Well, Microsoft wants to know. Now that they have released their version of "wow" with Windows Vista, they are holding a contest for anyone who wants to show off their "stuff!" The contest is called "Show Us Your Wow" and they want you to do so by submitting either a digital photo or a video that you think is worthy of a "wow!"

Microsoft is, of course, giving away prizes with this competition as well. They will award one winner from each country/region, along with one grand prize winner from around the globe. The finalists will receive a brand new computer (desktop or laptop) loaded with the new Vista Ultimate operating system. The grand prize winner will get a brand new high-definition video camera, as well as, a seven day trip (for two) to a world vista of their choice. Those include Sydney's Harbor Bridge and Opera House, Beijing's Great Wall, Agra's Taj Mahal, New York's Empire State Building or Paris' Eiffel Tower. Not too shabby, huh?!

You do need a Windows Live ID to be able to submit your entry (any Hotmail/MSN username and password will work). To read all the details and official rules, visit Vista's Web site and click on the link that says "Enter the 'Show Us Your Wow' Competition." Once you're ready, just click on the "Upload Your Wow" button and just go to town! Now, this contest did start back on January 4, 2007, but it runs until March 5, 2007, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action if you want. So, bring on the "wow," but most importantly, have fun doing it!

~ Erin
